Does a baby always fuss when he/she has an ear infection. My baby has been pulling at her ear lately...not constantly but a lot. She's 3 and a half months. She isn't fussy or running a fever...could this be an ear infection or does she simply just happens to do this at times?

I am having a baby shower for a friend. We are going to a pottery shop and painting a mirror for her. Everyone needs to chip in $10 for the mirror, how would I put this on the invitation?? I just don't want people to show up and be like Oh, we didn't know we had to pay anything, or to think it's more expensive and not buy a gift for her. Thanks

my daughter is 15 months old. she has extremely fair skin and gets hot very quickly. i have darker skin and have never had to be so wary of the sun, so this is all new to me. i give her several baths through out the day to keep her cool. lots of water for hydration. stay inside or in shady places if out. she can get hot to the touch and listless. i've taken her to the doctors before worried that she was in danger but they keep telling me she's fine and to "keep her cool."
anyone have any good ideas?

My 2 mo. old is on Zantac & Nutramigen, still spitting up excessively. Sometimes its like a fountain when he does this. He eats about every 2-3.5 hours, 3-4 oz. He is gaining weight good. We have tried adding ceral but it seems to cause him some pain with cereal. He is colicky, which it seems to have helped that a little. We hold him up for quite some time after eating, he even sleeps in a car seat some or his swing, upright with no movement and he continues to spit up even 1-2 hours after eating. I feel sorry for him becasue it seems there is nothing I can do to help him. Any ideas. I've heard about seeing a chiropractor, what do they do? I have not seen a Ped. GI should we?
Thanks!

My daughter has real bad diaper Rash. I've been putting cream on it and it don't seem to help. The rash it looks like the sore that you can get between your legs from sweeting and your leg rubbing together. Her rash is to the point where you can really see that its bad. Does anyone have any more ideas on what I can do for her.

I know that what I eat is passed on in some form to my baby through my breastmilk, but how fast does that process work? If I drink a glass of wine, does it INSTANTLY effect my breastmilk or a few hours later? How long does it stay in my breastmilk? Same thing for coffee.... Is it EVER ok to consume these things while breastfeeding, should I wait a few hours afterwards, etc etc...

to breast feed her baby?

http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/my/profile;_ylt=ArANHEnaoavPZDS5s4tGrPkSBgx.?show=fa7f933651afe3539cd34b9f0b19114aaa

Why has she posted it so much?

Sounds like a mega stressed lass that need to see her doc as soon as possible.

Breast feeding is best, obviousy and as far as I'm concerned that isnt the issue here, its being so irresponsible as to stop in a dangerous place.

Another thing, it seems a bit dramatic, I have a feeling it is made up to gauge peoples reactions.

Got some for our house, my partner says they are pretty pointelss as you can't electrocute yourself with a plug hole cos you'd need to get all fingers in all 3 of the holes then turn it on.

Was just wondering if this was true or not!

We're still using them for our baby, just curious!
