When you are nursing her, you are very close, so she can get very warm, but it's not going to *hurt* her. Try changing the way she's dressed. Fewer clothes might cool her slightly, or, if she's naked, a light cotton sheet between you and her may cool her slightly.

That's not unusual, especially if she's a newborn. My son did that as well when he was an infant. As the baby gets older her body will be able to regulate its temperature better and the sweating should decrease.

You know your baby best, but are you sure it's sweat? My toddler has condensation from her breath make her hair wet when she sleeps, or lays on one side to nurse. It makes her appear sweaty when really it's just moisture from her breath.

yes my grand daughter does that, the nurses say to just let them have a diaper on, something about the temp rising from the feeding at the breast.

Yes, all mine did that. Especially in this hot summer weather. Strip her down to a diaper if you want.

does she have on clothes? all that body touching can make one really hot! if she has on clothes take them off and just do skin to skin with her...its comforting to baby.

Try not to overdress her, babies can suffer from heat exhaustion too!
