It takes seconds if done by a specialist to a few minutes if done by most doctors. If you are going to circumcise, I would suggest you try to find a mohel (usually pronounced "moil")--a ritual Jewish circumciser--who will do non-Jewish circumcisions because he is an expert and is less likely to make a mistake in the surgery (which can, in extreme cases, result in an error so severe that the parents have no choice but to raise the child as a girl).

only a few seconds it's a fast snip. However healing takes a while. In the healing time you will have to put a bit of healing anti botic oitment like neosporin on the tip to prevent his penis from sticking to the diaper where he's healing. He might get a lil scab from the cut. Personally i feel it's not nessary to do a circumcision but, it's your choice i won't start the pro and con of not doing or doing it debate. Do look online at all the info to make a choice there are many sites that can give you informed info on the topic.

It takes only about 5 to 10 minutes. The healing takes a few days.

Pretty quick. Ask for numbing medicine for the baby and sucrose on a pacifier. The sugar helps calm the baby. My husband was with both of our sons for theirs and these were the things they did to help lessen the pain.

It takes just a few minutes to perform, and about a week or so (if cared for properly) to heal fully.
