When you go to your doctors and get a pysical, what if your on your period? Mines next month and it lands on when my period does. And I cannot cancel beacsue this doctor is hard to book (my family doctor since forever). I only use pads and during my period gets a little messy down there. How would I go to solve this?

20 years old should be the drinking age?

You are no longer a teen.
You already have the right to vote and buy cigarrettes.

Why have that extra year after you are no longer a teen? It should be something you gain after you are out of those years.
Teens and small children shouldnt be able to drink, but adults(over 20) should be able to.

BTW Im only 18 so its not like this would benefit anytime soon if it were like this.

My new boyfriend has a 15 year old son. Today I was at his house, his son was not home, and my boyfried was still at work. I have been going out with him for about 1 month now. While he was at work, I went into his sons room and went on to the computer.

I checked his history, there was 100s of pages of porn from many websites, limewire, torrentspy ect. There was many types of porn, I saw scat pages hardcore ____, and so on.
I was appaled. I didn't mean to be snoopy but I was curious.

His son dos not have any learning or social problems. What should I do?

So my friend who just came to my school new this year, is in a foster home. And her parents i thought were nice. But one day in our group of friends for some odd reason one of our guy friend brought up a story about how some dad raped his teenage daughter. And i don't know why. But all of a sudden she just took of running like a bat out of he!!. So i followed her and she was in the bathroom just balling her eyes out. I asked her what was wrong, and she just sat their like rocking back and forth. I tried to rub her arm, and calm her down. But when I touched her she jumped and moved away. She was just having a nervous breakdown and i was so scared. Then she stopped and just left. So I gave her space and let her be the rest of the day. And this happen yesterday. She said shes going to tel me about it on Tuesday. And earlier I was thinking about it.And i have seen bruises on her arms before. But I never thought anything of It. Ugh im so dumb. Im so scared. What should and can I do.PLZ HELP

and we have only kissed like 3 times. Once within the first month then two rescently. I feel like this isn't right. I am 16 and he is 17. I go to a high school where there is much academic competition. I made a really bad mistake a few years ago to take algebra again, and now I am no longer advanced in math. I am so ashamed of it because I know people would think of me as less intelligent if they knew. I hide my math book from everyone so they can go on assuming I'm in calculus or something. How can I let go of this overwhelming shame? I feel like such an idiot.

I'm 18, I want to shave my head and get a tattoo but my parents said no, and I know I can already get it but I don't want to hurt them. Is there a way to convince them to let me get it, if there is no way, what's the best way to minimize them getting angry or sad when I get my tattoo and shave my head?

It's not a small tattoo by the way, it's going to be large! two of them, one going down each arm. It's going to be as big as the picture below, except it's going to be in Arabic, I'm not going to tell you what it's going to say because it's really bad =) But my parents wouldn't know what it means.

A friend who is 17 just found our she is pregnant. Needs to go to a doctor but can't tell her parents. Can she go to a doctor without parents at 17 in Ohio?? Any info would really help! i didnt tell my family or my boyfriend who is16. I was driving and at a bus stop I see this girl from behind, she was in a tight shirt with her back showing and pants that had to be five sizes too small for her and a HUGE coach bag on her arm. She turned around and I saw a babyface. She couldn't be more than 13!

What mother would let a girl that age go out dressed like she was almost out of highschool/adult. I mean, maybe if she had been a little older I would have thought less of it. But she couldn't be more than 13.

My gf lives in a pretty safe neighborhood but she doesnt feel safe. After school she is the 1st one home and she always pushes open the door and looks around b4 she goes in. when i asked her she said its always been a fear that someone would be in her house. I thought that was funny and i laughed but i dont think its funny any more. ok pretty long story

i'm 17 i was adopted and have 2 other sisters same age 16 17 and my "mom" doesn't like my boyfriend (jack) from age 13 and hes 17 too.

So i started to stay with him at his house living in the basement with him because he has 2 other brothers to about same age and ones adopted too
and his mom is never around and his dad left him when he was like 2 years old

so then i didn't want to have sex until i was married so i wanted to wait and he said ok we can wait then turns out things flipped around and i decided to do it for the first time
but it wasnn't his first time it was his 2nd time

then i found out i was pregnent (3month) and in that same month my boyfriend started to have pain in his stomach and he went to the doctors and the soctor checked hime(down there) and there was a lump in his left ball and turned out to be cancer

so then he had to take it out before it spreads around his body

now i'm soo confused idk what to do!! and i think my mom
