Well I'm not a laptop expert. And, I do not know what you want this laptop for. So I would check out this laptop buying guide:

Also, buy a laptop for what you need. The extra features are nice, but only buy them if you're going to use them for sure because the less perks you have one your laptop the cheaper the price.

I hope you realize you can't get everything in life just because you want it so bad...
Life doesn't work that way...
Do you have any idea how expensive those laptops can be???
Maybe your dad can't afford it...
If you need a computer to do homework, you don't need a fancy one...
Ask your dad for one that is cheaper...

I just got a laptop and I love mine!
Anyways, tell them that this is the ONLY thing that you want and explain to them that it's great for school work (even if thats now what you want it for).Tell them you would do anything for it! hah.
&If that doesnt work pretend you're writing a letter to santa and hand it to them. Make it really cheesyy,
Lol.Good luck!
I have a gateway and it works great! It was pretty expensive (1000) but i'm sure you can find one that works with your budget.
