both my parents have been smoking since i have been growing up nd now i am a young teen. it is terrible because its lyk somethin that is killing me that i have no control over- i try so hard to get them to stop but nothin ever works. my parents recently seperated nd my dad was out of the house for a long time nd at that time my mom never smoked in the house so it was all good- now he is back in the house for a while proly a year nd he smokes nd i cnt stand it. i cry about it. he trys to hide it- one night i was in my room nd he was in the basement nd i could smell it so i tld him nd he flipped on me. :[[[ plz how can i get him to stop nd how much is this effecting my future? :[

In my PE class we have about 30 special needs kids. Today we were just doing the rock wall and me and my friends were standing around talking. Then one of the special needs kids starts throwing accorns and grass at this guy. The guy is in the diffrent gym usually, so he's like " hey dude if you don't stop throwing crap at me i'm gonna beat ur a**". Does he seriously think telling a kid like that who dosn't really understand what that means is gonna solve anything? I heard him talking to his friends and he was like " I don't care if is handicapped i will still beat him up". My friend told me "yeah beating him up is just like slapping a 1yr old back for hitting". Does that guy have to be that stupid, it like just pissed me off so much what the guy was saying, he thought he was so cool that he was about to beat up a special needs kid. Ugh why are guys so mean and stupid?

I'm 15 and 1 month pregnant. I told my parents today and they freaked out.I told them my plan to adopt the child and they said I have to get a abortion! this is the worst day of my life. I am scared being pregnanat but also excited, when the babys going to kick and I can hold it. Yesterday I even (selfishly) thought about keeping it. It breaks my heart that they want me to kill their grandchild. Is there anything I can do to stop them?

Some people I know think that I'm either gay or bi..I'm not even sure what i am..But i want to fit in better. I hang out with girls and guys...I'm perverted sometimes..But sometimes I'm sure i say things that make people think....My voice is not high but not low either...I sometimes listen to girly music like Rihanna, Justin Timberlake..And people think its wierd that I go to girly concerts(Justin Timberlake, Gwen Stefani) Or when I got all excited when I ran into the Jonas Brothers in NYC. My neice is five foot 8 - she is taller than me and my husband and towers her mother.
She has just turned 12. Is this normal?
Her father is very tall, but I didn't think you could be this tall at 12.
She could pass for an 18 year old woman.
Could she keep growing?

OK now this is my oldest.(so he is my experimental child for the ones to follow). I know allot of his emotions are par for the course as far as preteens are concerned. He is very obstanant but yet he has compassion for others(for example I don't think there is a leaf in my neighborhood that wasn't touched or removed by him). He has been having a hard time taking care of himself and his surroundings. I do have strict guidelines of how I raise my 4 kids. 1)taking care of self, 2)taking care of family 3)taking care of community. He is very much lacking in the first two. The last one he seems to have ne problem with. Right now he is grounded from computer, tv and friends till he can improve the first two. 1) self and 2)his own room(which stems off of family) Is there anything else I can do other than the grounding?

I have a sort of casual friend who I met a few months a go, we've ran into each other a few times at various things, she's always been really nice to me to my face. Now she's acting like she really doesn't like me....why?

I sent her a myspace message or two, trying to make conversation, which she ignored. I figured she was just busy.

Then, I added her as a friend on facebook. She ignored, despite the fact that she has over 470 other friends on there! I figured it might have been a mistake (I might not have actually requested to add her as a friend), so I requested again. She ignored, again! What the hell?

Why is she acting like this? I have done NOTHING to her!

One is 11, the other 13, both sweet girls. We have a good relationship, I treat them with much love. I like tradition and at home I make them wear frilly pinafore aprons, even when they aren't doing chores. It's the cutest thing, they look adorable in them. Her aprons are like that Alice's apron at http://www.inthestarlight.com/aprons.html They don't like that much, especially the 13 yo, but obey. My 13 yo old gets a bit embarrassed when she wears it in front of her friends or strangers, but everybody says they look adorable. It's a law at home, I don't back off. My 13 yo is starting to complain a lot, I guess she's about to rebel. So far she didn't, but she keeps saying she doesn't want to wear her pinafores any more, none of her friends wears one. I've been understanding but firm, keep treating her with love but said she'll keep wearing her pinafore, it's my decision, I won't back off. Should I punish her if she keeps complaining or rebel?

Well, I been taking the pill seens October 22, then in November 13 I stoped taking the pill for a week break, then on November 21 I started taking it again, and then on the 24 of november I had unprotected sex, do you think I could be pregnant, I really dont want to, I have been taking the pill at the exact time and everything I havent missed a single day... i started dating this guy who is 17 and im 15. anyway we were at a party when he got really drunk and started asking for sex. i said no and walked off to find a friend because he was off his face. i walked around the corner to go find her and then i was shoved from behind into a door and then into a room. my bf grabbed me and pushed me onto the ground (it really hurt and he is like heaps taller and stronger) anywway i dnt want to go into detail but he raped me and now im pregnant.
