Well you think you're pregnant???? You should probably be positive before you do anything, like telling your friends even. Word can spread fast and the last place you dad would want to hear it is from someone other than you. If you find out for sure that you are pregnant, the father of the baby better be able to help support you (it takes two to tango). You never know your dad may be understanding and sympathize with you. Maybe not the first instant you tell him. But make sure you are clear with him about everything, and what you plan on doing to raise this baby, you never know he will probably understand.

There's no point in debating what you should do until you determine whether you are or aren't pregnant.
Every teenager thinks their parents will kill them or kick them out, and they're usually wrong. Parents WILL get mad, oh yeah, but in the end, they know a lot more about sex and babies and life in general than you do (they've actually HAD babies and raised them) and this possibility WILL have crossed their minds already. It won't be the end of the world. Don't do anything stupid, like trying to "force a miscarriage" as some dumb person without a uterus suggested. That can get you killed.

Find out for sure if you are pregnant. If you are, sit down with your dad and tell him the truth. Don't try to hide it and don't run off to get an abortion without his knowledge. If you have complications after an abortion and you are at home, your dad may not be able to help you...or he'll find out the hard way what you have done.
If your dad kicks you out, there are people who can help you. Call your local child protective services department and ask them for some help. They can refer you to the right people or find you a place to stay. Or email me and I'll see if I can help in some way. ponygirlky1@yahoo.com
It isn't the end of the world. My cousin was 16 when she found out she was pregnant. She kept the baby and now he is a wonderful 14 year old boy.

Well first you can get a pregnancy test. Some will do it for free. Heres a website to find the closest location to you where they do free pregnancy test. Once you acutally find out your pregnant sooner or later your gonna have to tell your mom, dad and baby daddy. Dont get an abortion. Thats just wrong its not the childs fault that you made a mistake by not wearing a condom or anything like that. Just please dont. But any ways also just hope your babys father is happy and will help you take care of the baby. Well good luck honey!

First of all, find out if you really are pregnant, tell your doctor and have her/him give you a test.
if you are:
ask your doctor to maybe give u suggestions on how to tell ur dad. Your dad will be upset, but no one can really hate someone FOREVER. People might tell you to get an abortion, but DONT! It's not the baby's fault it was a mistake, everyone deserves a chance to live! If you were a mistake, would you have wanted to be killed as a baby?!

well, there are a few things.
#1, you will HAVE to talk to him. Even if he is going to threaten to kick you out, you need his support more than anything...
#2 Decide on what your options are...Do you want to raise this baby or do you want to opt to adopt this child out?
#3 realize that if you decide to be a coward and get an abortion that the horrible decision will haunt you for the rest of your life and could make it so you never can have kids...
talking to your family will really really help you, even if you think they will be beyond angry

well hun, there's only one way you are going to find out how he'll react. sit them down and tell them respectfully. i hope you have somewhere to go if he kicks you out. also, if possible, have the baby's daddy with you when you spill the beans, that shows a sign of respect on both yours and his side. they may be pissed at first, but once they see thier grandchild, their eyes will fill with tears of joy, they will so get over it.
PS, dont you think you should first make sure you are pregnant before telling them and making a whole commotion for nothing???

Find an adult you trust and tell them. Mom if she is still in the picture. Take a pregnancy test. Stop having sex till you are ready to be a parent.

hun dont listen to them first off you need to find out for sure before you go telling your dad and then if you are pregnant tell your dad he will be able to help you he is going to be mad and upset you are his baby and now you might be haveing a baby but he loves you and will help you

just tell him its better for you to tell him then him find out just say you know that what you did was wrong he might get mad at you but you are his daughter hes going to have to get over it, and so he wont kick you out tell him you will get a job and support the kid so he doesn't have to worry about it
