I am going on a first date to the movies and I am worried it is too impersonal. Is there anyway I can make it better?
We are going to see Fred Claus or Dan In Real Life.

Try and do something before and/or after so you can talk. Watching a movie is a good way to not feel like you have to talk the whole time. You can see how he treats you and how he shares his popcorn and then you have something to talk about after wards. Have fun!

on the way to the movies make conversation with him cuz it is sort of awkward to go out with someone and not really talk to them which is hard when going to a movie but you can make it less wierd by talking to them before the movie and while your on your way to the movie. i would recomend to see a comedy because that gives you the chance to laugh and look at each other during the movie and then afterward you can talk about the funny parts and laugh together more.

No. Thats a great first date. Thats a perfect place for a guy to 'make a move' and its just a testing date. Then the next date can be special.

Try to continue it afterwards. Suggest you get something to eat, or if you're in a mall, look around the shops.

just ask him/her to go to coffe after the movie is out and talk about the movie. what movie are u seeing???
