that's sounds OK to me. I was told that the pill only takes a week to start protecting from the first time u start taking it unless u start taking it within 5 days of your period and then it is effective straight away. this is on a booklet from the HS. Its not unprotected sex if u are on the pill, the pill protects u! it sounds like u will be fine if u haven't missed any!
and if your doctor told you to take a break i would, i take a break, it is actually good to take a break because you are less likely to spot, that is what i was told. i take a break and have sex on the break, it said in the leaflet with my pill that i could and would still be protected

Im not sure, i was 15 when i fell pregnent and i doubt you understand how scary it is from thinking you 'might' be to you actually 'are'.
Im not actually going to spite you because you have been using contreceptive until that once but you know what they say it can only take once.
Wait til a week after your period if you havent come on go to the doctors or even two days after take a pregnancy test!

& you cant do this all alone have you got a boyfriend you can talk to? Cause talking to your parents at this time could cause big disruption amongst everyone.

From what I remember, you still need to use a condom or backup method in your first month of taking the Pill, to make sure the hormones have had enough time to get into your bloodstream and be effective.
You NEED to take the Pill every day in order for it to work. Taking a "week break" isn't good. So yes, it's entirely possible you could be pregnant. It's good that you're trying to be responsible about sex, but you need to be consistent on top of that. Remember to take your Pill every day, no breaks, and use a condom for the next month or so, until your body establishes a rhythm with the hormones.

well i believe there is a small possibilty tht u r but the pill can still work for a month after stopping taking the pill so u may have just been safe. and dont worry there are many of young girls that have little understanding of the subject, so your best option is to visit a family planning centre where all info can be given on what to do in all circumstances.XX

There is a chance that you could be pregnant. But dont freak out. For now, i would obstain to sexual activity and the pill until you know for sure. If you are, the pill could harm the baby. Just wait it out and take a test in a few days. Don't stress over it until you know. I know thats easy to say, and hard to do, but there is nothing you can do about the situation until you know for sure. And to prevent future scares...always use a condom. Not just to prevent pregnancy, but to protect you from diseases that are out there. Its very important that you value yourself enough to protect yourself. One in Three sexually active teens have some type of communicable stds. So just be careful. Better safe than sorry hun.

anything is possible and yeas that is a possibility. but first of all since u want to b grown up then u need to act like it. u want to have sex then u need to start taking ur pills like a responsibile person. i mean do u want to get pregnant? obviously u do bcuz y would u stop taking them then start again and whateva else ur doing. u should take the pill and do not stop unless that is something that ur doctor told u to do.
u should always wear a condon for the simple fact that there are serious deadly diseases out here that i don't think u want to catch. b smart about it child. ur still a child and trying to do adult things. if u want to do adult things then u have to act like an adult. buy a pregnancy test and get this all figured out. stop being scared and do what u have to do. u should have been scared whrn that boy was putting that thing in ur goodies, that should have scared u.

it is unlikely, but not impossible. Then best thing to do is nip to the supermarket and get a test they are really cheap now and it will set your mind at rest. The other thing is and I am sorry to nag, but as a mother i feel I must, even if you are the pill, use a condom, there are so many horrible diseases out there you are at far more risk of getting on of those I hope this works out for you, and perhaps this sort of scare will make you more aware in the future.

if you have been taking the pill correctly then you should not be pregnant. i do, however, reccomend that you use a condom in future to prevent catching an STI (sexually transmitted infection) these are nasty little infections which could cause you no end of problems now, and in later life.
Best do a pregnancy test, just in case....but as i said, you've been taking the pill correctly you should be ok.

If you are concerned then I would suggest that you consult a GP (or attend a family planning clinic if you are worried about keeping things private).
There is a chance, just like there would be a chance if you were using protection. The whole concept of complete contraception is very unreliable so you have to be careful.

I thought the pill was supposed to be taken continuously? It's the cumulative effect of the drug build up within your body that produced the continuing contraceptive protection? Anyway, do you have any other signs? You don't say whether your periods have stopped, or whether you are feeling ill in the morning (only a bloke here, so I don't know what all the signs are)
