That is what parents mostly do. Parents always favor the boys more especially if it is their youngest child and the only boy they have. It puts alot of pressure on you especially if you are the oldest child and a girl. I have once been in your shoes before. There is nothing you can do but hope that you will grow up fast, find a job as soon as possible and save money and move out once you are 18 so that you will never have to deal with this mess again.

My parents favor my younger brother also, I think it's the fact that they think he's helpless and say that he's only #, even though when I was that age I acted differently.

Just have a sit-down talk with your parents and explain exactly what your telling all of us on Yahoo! Answers. Your brothers younger right? If so then he's the cute little baby they all want to let slip. If not. He's the only boy. daddy's little man, and momma's boy.

that's terrible! yet i be attentive to precisely the way you experience. i'm the youngest of four. I had and older sister and a pair of brother's. such as you even nonetheless i did no longer do any of the undesirable stuff like eating or something i nonetheless have been given seen the black sheep of the kin. and such as you besides mght i had very comparable daddy themes. So what i did became into wade through mum. in case you're on the brink of her in any respect you assert the way you experience unloved and that your dad by no potential gave you the attention or compliment you deserved or deserve and he or she generally says something ( yet do no longer ask her to declare something) or you could head the concern right now on and besides the actuality that it sounds loopy have a mini argument approximately how he's taken care of you unfairly and that your his baby too and deserve a similar appreciate. I did the two with my mothers and dads and now there treating me greater desirable than ever. and don't attempt to combat your brother for interest, use your money on your self no longer them, mothers and dads and brother ought to pay for themselves on a similar time as going out. inspite of if he has paid for you, deliver that up next time. yet i think of specially is which you ought to sop combating for you families affection. i be attentive to the way you experience! yet specifically circumstances mothers and dads elect a favourite and which will generally by no potential exchange no remember what you do. So make the way you experience prevalent and be distant for a on a similar time as for it to sink in and enable them to be attentive to your disillusioned. If there actual human beings then they are going to come to you.

I have a little sister.
She gets everything and I get treated like crap.
I'm pretty sure this happens in every family.
Just find a way to deal with it. Write in a diary, draw, exercise, etc.
But you can ALWAYS use this against your parents. Especially in buying laptops (lol. i answered you're other question).

I know how you feel. I have an older brother who gets everything he wants. mom and dad even pay for his gas and insurance on his car, but they told me I have to pay my own before I can drive.

ur dad was probably raised to give the 'men' of the family more favorable treatment. just ignore it. One of my friend's parents were raised to give men more food better stuff etc.. but they just ignore it. or you could always talk to him about it
