I feel that is a waste of money, I can see you have a computer and a cell phone already why get an Iphone? I really think they aren't that great. My Uncle has one and it already broke because they are VERY sensitive so I do not think a 13 year old needs one. You should just either take the money or ask for something else.

i heard that the iphones are really expensive, have rediculous phone bills, and that you have to buy a new one every so often because you can only charge it 30 times before it dies completely. i'm not totally for sure if these things are true or not, but based on everything that i've heard about them, i would not get an iphone just yet. i think i'd wait a couple years until the technology is better, and just stick with a simpler, yet nice phone for now.

well, usually when parents let their kids have something, it's usually very safe and stuff, but i don't think that you should get one, because i know some people with it and they're not happy at all and they're stuck with it for two whole years. the fee for early termination is also really expensive. i don't think that you need a phone like that for 13. i'm 13 too and i have some of the options on my phone but i don't use them because they cost money and i don't really need them. it might be a waste of money, so think this over before you buy one. good luck.

umm is it the fact that they are expensive or the fact that she doesnt want you to have a cell phone at the age of 13... because cell phones just mean more and more money? If i was you i would probally just ask for an ipod i believe you are to young for the responisbility to pay a phone bill or continue to pay for credit for the phone

yes they are but think about the different cautons. such as its very easy to break from what my friend said about his iphone.
For 13 years old i would recommend a mp3/camera phone instead of a iphone because around 13 yrs old kids usually might lose things or get it stolen

I have a friend that has one and he says its kinda hard texting ...You have to go slow when typing...and the service sux around here....in SC and I also heard that the internet on the AT&T network was kinda slower than on other networks.
