I want to name my baby either Carrie or Karrie.
Please tell me this..
do you REALLY think she'll be made fun of and everyone will be reminded of the stephen king book?

It just came to me earlier.. of all the names I thought of, this is the perfect one for me.

Please let me know.

Just tell me honestly what you think about these names. My fiance and I are having twins and we won't know the gender until they are born, so we've come up with a list of our top 4 names for our babies.

Boys:
William Gabriel
Malachia Channing (Ma-la-kai)

Girls:
Serenity Abigaile
Madison Rosanne

I just want your opinion on the names in general. What do you think? Or, if you want, feel free to make suggestions on any of them!!-middle name, first name...which ever!

To let everyone know, the only thing I'm not sure that sounds good is Channing as a middle name for Malachia. If you can think of a great middle name (preferably 8 letters long) that goes with Malachia I would appreciate it and love you very much!

And, please comment (for my friend) she's having a girl. What do you think about Isabelle Rose? Which do you think sounds better Isabelle or Isabella?

Thanks!!

Is it normal for you to have pregnancy symptons all of the time and go down to rarely or hardly ever. I stopped having them about a few days ago and i just wanted to know if this is normal. It kind of freaks me out. And oh yea i also wanted to know that when you go to the doctor to find out if you are pregnant or not and they feel your stomach, what are they feeling for. Would i be able to feel it myself?

First, I gave my son Robitussin (Guafenesin Syrup), and when the fever persisted an hour later, I gave him Children's Motrin. 3 hours after, in bed, he was shaking, and it was very hard to wake him up, which is unusual. Is this because of the 2 medicines I gave to him, or is it just because he has a cold? Should I be worried? Thank You

I'm a 20 year old single mom with a 3.5 month old infant. She has been with me 24/7 since she was been born. I'm constantly hearing other moms say how great motherhood is and how much they love their lil babies, but it's like I just don't get it sometimes. I work my butt off to take care of that little girl, don't get me wrong she has a pretty good life right now. I just don't feel "attached" to her, I mean I'd do anything for her but at the same time I feel I could just as easily drop her off with her dad so I can sleep and go on with my life. Is this normal and it just takes more time to form a relationship with her, or what?

is it normal to think that my baby is the cutest and has the most adorable chipmunk cheek and sweetest smile and a most unique personality? and other babies looks just like any other baby(I'm a new mom)....and I'm really, super possessive. I don't like it when my mom-in-law tries to hold or cuddle or play or with him. I usually tried to lock my bedroom door so that my mom-in-law can't enter and 'disturb' my baby. I hate it when I have to go to work and leave my baby with her cause I don't want him to be close to her. Already my baby was smiling more to her than me and I always feel superior when my baby reach out to me when he wants feeding. I must sound like a crazy mum, but I can't stop the feeling. I just want my baby to be mine and mine alone.

I have been 3 cm dilated for weeks now and my plug came out 3 weeks ago as of yesterday. I am 80% effaced and my baby is at -1 station. I am 39 weeks and 3 days.

The doctor said since I have 3 children already and am showing signs of being ready, he would induce after 40 weeks but I really don't want to be induced.

My ultrasound and my measurements both match my last period date so I am 100% sure my due date is right.

My question is...are most babies born by 40 weeks when the due date is right or I am really looking at being induced? I read that with correct due date the chance of going over 40 weeks is like 2%

I am not willing to try castor oil or anything crazy. We can't have sex because it's not comfortable and I have been walking as much as I can stand.

Also would like to add that I have 3 girls (this is a boy) and I have never carried past the 38th week. Always been induced because I was 3-5 cm with no contractions..stalled labor etc.

My eighteen month old is down to one nap a day, for about two hours. I dread the day that she won't nap. Do you still have quiet time anyways even though the nap is gone?

Im 20 weeks pregnant and in a foul mood today! My husband had a huge back of peanut butter M&Ms and took them to work with him (he's in the Navy and has duty today... so I don't get to see him till morning).

Don't ever take candy away from a pregnant woman.. especially one in the second trimester!

Anyone relate?

1.) I have slight cramping in my lower stomach and I know that is from the egg attaching to the uterus but how long does this last because it is very uncomfortable.

2.) I just took a bath, is that okay? If I can remember correctly pregnant women are supposed to stay away from prolonged baths and this was a long bath.

...one more question...sorry..

3.) If I know exactly when I conceived I would count from that day to see how far along I am right.? I am 95% sure I concieved on December 2nd so that would make me about 3 or 4 weeks, right?

Thxs in advance...
