If you had a miscarriage and your 8 weeks pregnant you would have passed the fetus. At the least you would have Passed what would look like blood clots, and you would most likely have a lot of blood, like a heavy period. If you haven't passed clots yet and your not cramping don't worry this early. It is possible you could be in the middle of a miscarriage and you just haven't passed it yet. but, dates are almost always off, and you might just not produce the hormone quickly enough which would make you threaten miscarriage, this would cause the bleeding, but that doesn't mean it will happen. This happened with my first. He was full term and healthy. My next 4 were miscarriages. The HCG test should be done in two days (I've had plenty of these, i know) every couple days your levels should approximately double. But maybe because its the holiday and you would have to go to the hospital because your doctor will be closed they told you next week. You'll still get the same result, if your levels go up your still carrying, if they go down you miscarried.
I'm sorry to tell you, but this early all you can do is wait. I'm so sorry. I know how horrible it is no knowing. Like i said though if your not passing clots though, don't worry this early. I know its hard not to I was almost hysterical. but it just makes things worse and the stress can cause you to miscarry if you haven't already.

It sounds like a miscarriage. A follow up HCG level check will tell you for sure. 205 is a low level, what you would see around the time of your 1st missed period. Mine was at 1447 at 4 weeks 6 days. Levels are in the tens of thousands at 8 weeks, mine was 24,700 at 6 1/2 weeks. About half of women who have actual red bleeding in the first trimester do miscarry, so that's most likely what you are going through. I'm so sorry.

I hate to scare you, but coming from someone who has 7 miscarriages in 10 yrs and one live birth, it sounds like a miscarriage. first of all your hcg level is very low, it is supposed to double everyday. you should be in the 1000's by now. My doctor had told me, if it's brown blood, that's just old blood that was trapped after your last cycle, but if you see bright red, that's not good. I know that a couple of my miscarriages did have any cramping, but the others were major cramping. So, I don't want to say, but I think it is a miscarriage.

I am sorry to say this, but it sounds like you are having a miscarriage.
If you passed a huge clot of blood and tisue, that is a almost certain sign.
I have been through it and am truly sorry.
Just know it is not your fault. It is just the bodies way and saying something did not go right.
God Bless....

That doesnt sound good . I would be asking for a ultrasound so you can see for yourself that the baby is there or not and not just go by the levels of your blood !
Good Luck with everything :)
