Honestly, I think its overly compicated and awful. Stephawne sounds like a girl.. But makes me think of a boy at teh same time.. Which is just bad..

Maybe Stephan or Stephen but not Stephawne it just sounds awful, and the spelling is attrocious. I could live with the name Deshawn I suppose. But It kinda makes me feel sorry for the baby, you know?

Sorry if that sounded a little harsh. Grats anways

I know it may seem fun and cool to be creative with a unqiue name right now, but imagine how annoying it would be for him to be correcting everyone who tried spelling it! Maybe just do Stephan Deshawn Burton...

Consider how your little boy will feel in kindergarten, trying to write out his name. You could spell it more conventionally so that he will have an easier job of learning to write his name and his teacher will be more likely to pronounce it correctly. How about "Stefan Deshawn" instead?

I have seen children struggle with even 'regular' names like Victoria and Alexander. Please think of how your little person will carry this name all through his life, for maybe 85 years.

I think that spelling it Stephawne would make people think that it's pronounced Stephanie. Just stick with Stephan. Or things like that. Stephen. Steven. Or Stefan. I like the name Stefan for a boy!

I do like how Stephen Shawn sounds!

The names rhyme. When I first read it I read Burton as Burtawn. I don't like the extra W in Stephawne - I'm not actually sure how to pronounce it either, I read it like - Ste - fawn? However, its your choice.

There is no need for the "w" you have in Stephawne. Sorry, but it looks silly. Stephan or Stephane will suffice. I'm not really big on names that have La or De thrown on the beginning of them either. Sorry.
