My daughter who will be 9 in april has developed this weird obession within the last 3 yrs. She thinks all her stuffed animals are real, and they talk. She truly believes they are like humans! She is especially attached to one called "pink Panther" he's a panther and he's pink with white dots all over him. He's so filthy, and needs to be cleaned in the washer, but she won't allow it! She thinks he will drown in the washer.

One time she asked me to hand him to her, and I picked him up and kinda tossed him to her in the air. OMG this was the wrong thing to do. She completly freaked out on me. Saying I scared him, and she thought I broke his leg by throwing him that way! she was crying hysterically, and she said she hated my guts and pink panther did to.

She never takes him with her when she stays the night at a friends house out of fear they will tease her or be mean to him. But she calls all day and night asking me about him. If he's eaten dinner, ect.

It's just weird.

I've got my list a bit shortened some. First here I want two of these names for first names:
Kaelynn, Kila, Kiana, Brynlee, Lyndsay, Lynae.

For middle names I want to name after my family. Try mix and match the above names with these.
Janelle, Angelina, Ilene, Willaena, Gerilynn, Kathryn.

They are both girls what is your opinion. I want to know.

i have a 2 yr old daughter who in the past has gone to sleep/bed fine, at a reasonable time, but for the last week i have put her down in her cot, bathed, warm milk story, everything in routine, but she has had full blown tantrems for upto 2 hrs, including tonight, she has only just gone down, she only has an hourly nap at 10 30 and i even wear her out in afternoon, i know she is very tired, but she refuses to go to sleep, or even lie down. i try all the technics ignoring etc, she then threatens to throw up, but thankfully doesnt, i just dont know why all of a sudden she has turned into a nightmare child that doesnt want to go to bed? any helpful info is grateful (i will not give her medication to help her sleep) thankyou

Yesterday, my 2 year old son was having some homemade macaroni and cheese made with milk and cheese of course. I gave about 5 macaroni noodles to my 7 month old. The noodles hardly had any sauce on them and she only had 5 noodles. Anyway, about 2 hours later she started getting hives. She still has the hives today. It flares up and goes away throughout the day. I am 100% positive they are hives because I often get terrible hives. My question is how long could her allergic reaction continue. I have yet to give her baby benadryl I was waiting it out to see if it would clear up on its own since I try to avoid medication at all costs. Would such a small amount of milk really cause such a reaction? She eats cheese without any problems. I also get hives from milk but usually only if I drink a whole glass of it. The hives clear up after a few hours though. Could it be a virus she picked up? She seems happy and normal but the hives are still sticking around. When will it be out of her system?

him, then leave for five minutes and come back and keep repeating it until he learnt how to settle himself. This worked well for a few nights and we'd put him to bed a 8:30 and for a few blissful nights he didn't wake up until 5am.

But now he has gone back to his old ways again and has started waking up at 1,3 and 5. We've kept to the same routine, dinner, bathtime, quiet play, then bed but now, even when i put him down for his naps, he gets upset really easy and knows i'm going to leave him. I feel so bad, i don't want to turn him into a nervous wreck. I put him down to change him when we went out for the day and he screamed his head off because he thought i was going to leave him. I just don't know what to do. I feel awful that i seem to be making it worse, i don't want him to feel insecure.

The method we used was the Ferber method. I can't see where i'm going wrong. Any ideas??

My husband and I already chose a boy name but we're stuck on the name for a girl. Whenever we agree on a girl's name, one of us changes our mind later on, haha.

We don't like modern names or popular names at the time like Riley, Mackenzie, and Madison. We like more traditional names like Mary, Elizabeth, Laura, etc.

Thanks ahead of time :)

I am a 32 year old single mom of a great three year old. I am finishing my education so I can get us the *** out of dodge and away from my mother (my need not his). I have really been thinking alot lately that I would really like to start dating again and hopefully find that spark I had three years ago before my son came into my life. I love my kid, but I feel like I disappeared and now only exist for him and his needs. I feel very guilty and selfish when I think about hopefully getting married someday or just finding someone to spend time with. I have not been out of the house except for work and school without him. Am I being selfish or should I spend the next 2 years I have left in school to get back into shape (in more ways than one) and start my life again?

I'm not really comfortable with him being around a lot of (possibly germ-carrying) people. And I really don't see the point in him going. It's not like he's going to enjoy it. But I'm tired of being acused of not ever letting them do anything with him. I just think he's too young to do most of the things they want to do with him.

if she's not spoiled and she's down to earth? The person I'm thinking about has her own apartment in moscow (one of the most expensive cities in the world),a huge car with a chauffer, and literally roomfuls of designer clothing, etc. everything paid for by her parents. How is it all right for children of really wealthy parents to get pretty much watev. they want and kids of middle class folks will be considered spoiled if they get just one or two expensive things just by asking for them?

I remember watching the movie Gladiator and Russell Crowe plays the character named Maximus. "The general who became a slave, the slave who became a gladator, the gladiator who defy the emperor." In the movie, the black guy tells him, "You have a great name, Maximus." I really admired the character in that movie and I thought it would be a great name. However, my husband thinks people will make fun of him when he grows up. What do you think?
