A letter-jumble of the name is Ian is Nia (which could be
pronounced NEE-uh or NIGH-uh
Ideally, when you have a two-syllable first name and a two-syllable last name you should have a one-syllable middle name to balance them all. Thus; something like Nia Bree Garsis?
I also like Nia Brynn, Nia June, Nia Gail, or Nia Dawn. Good luck! :)

I actually really like the first answer Chelsea - Ian and Chelsea Garsis sounds really cute. Don't do something with the name -ian in it though - that's just too much lol (like, I wouldn't go with Lilian, Adrian, etc - there are millions of other names to choose from, why go with those).
Other names she might like are: Olivia, Lucy, Sophie, Dana, Eva, Eve, Eleanor, Nora, Jane, Jessa, Julia/Juliet, Lily (not Liliana though - Lilith or just Lily are pretty enough), Liv, Sadie, Sara, Chloe, June, Annabel, Eliza, Violet, Georgia, Avery, Ava, Colette, Veronica, Vera, Audrey, Emily/Emma/Emmeline, Kate/Katherine, Lee, Leia, Eloise/Ellie, Elisabeth, Victoria, Danica, Alice, Elle, Lindsey, Rebekkah, Hayley, Mia, etc.
Ian and Lucy Garsis, Ian and Sophie, Ian and Liv, Ian and Eliza, Ian and Sadie, Ian and Chloe, Ian and Audrey, Ian and Amy, Ian and Amelia Garsis, etc - tell your friend to sound them out and see what sounds best to her.
Also, she could try www.nymbler.com - type in names she already likes or uses, like Ian, and up will come tons more suggestions of a similar style.
Good luck and congrats to her!!

I think that with a cute strong little name like Ian, another great name might be little and cute as well, but with a feminine twist.
Why not:
Lily
Tessa
Ella
Claire
Paige
Jenna
Mia
Chloe
Megan
Kara
I also think that Ian is a modern classic, so these choices might sound nice with it:
Alexandra
Allison
Amanda
Gabrielle
Melanie
Miranda
Michelle
Bethany
Noelle
Stephanie
Vanessa
Violet
Lauren
Julianne
Cassandra
Danielle
Good luck to your friend. Picking a name can be tough, but it's the best gift you'll ever give your child!
