I had unprotected sex with a girl just 1 time and a week later she's throwing up in the morning and says her stomache feels wierd she's just sick right?

I just hired a19 year old to watch my baby 5 hours a day/5 days a week. She let me know that her last job (same hours) paid her sick time and vacation time after 6 months. First of all, she's part time. In a normal job, you don't get those benefits when you're part time. Second of all, she's a baby sitter. And I've never heard of that sort of compensation for baby sitters! Should I be covering these off-times??

I like it pronounced "Ecks a vier"
I know purists insist is it pronounced "Zavier"

However, the professor from Xmen (we're such geeks, we know), is pronounced with the "X" sound instead of "Z" as well as Xavier University.

Questions:

1. When you first read it, did you pronounce it with a "Ecks/X" or "Z" sound?

2. Do you think we'd be condemning our son to a life of either correcting people or having his name pronouced wrong if we named him this?

My son just turned a year old and for the past 2 months, he's been doing this new 'thing' where he takes both of his hands and smacks them over his ears repeatedly (does this a few times a day or more). I had him checked for ear infections (not even earwax in there, let alone inflammation) and I take note of the noise levels (never too loud) and he never acts like he's in pain, but he does this so often and with such intensity, I'll admit I'm worried. Any ideas, or maybe is this a wierd kid thing?

Okay my period isnt due until Tuesday should I wait to test on Wed AM if there is no AF by than or should I test tomorrow morning? I actually could have tested this morning but I didnt want too. I did test last monday the 5th and it said NEG but I tested WAAAAAAAAAY to early. (but my DH wanted me to test, even after I told him it was early) I have had sore bbs for the past week to two weeks (but the soreness is going away now) my boobs look bigger (atleast to my husband) and I have had a sore backache the past 2 weeks. I am starting to feel like AF is coming but I am really hoping she doesnt... Has anyone felt like AF was coming and than was preggers? I feel cramping, and small pain. And I have been getting sick alot at night either vomiting or bad constipation sorry (tmi) But never really during the day... what gives? I have to sleep half way sitting up & half way laying down to feel like I am not going to vomit.. oh the joys of the waiting game... what are your thoughts?? just wait?

I have been storing breast milk in freezer for two weeks, but my kid does not seem to drink it at all, but the milk I pump and give her in two days, she drinks well. What could be going on? Also there is yellow layer on top of milk in spite of heating it and it smells normal to me. How do I know if it has gone bad or what is happening. My kid keeps getting upset tummy, is it related to that?

My son is 3 months old and I have breastfed him since day one... I can't imagine doing it any other way... I feel so proud looking at him and knowing that I have fed him every day of his life and have been the one to keep him alive! It is such an incredible feeling.. I have a 3year old little girl who spent most of her time with me since she was born with my husband being in Iraq. He would often worry that she would not know him or even come to him. He is now home safely but the problem is that my daughter only wants to go with him and will only listen to him not me. I try to play games and be the fun mom that I use to be but nothing works keep in mind that he has been home for a year now and it's only getting worse. If I ask her to do something or don't do something she reply's my daddy said I can do it or I don't have to do it because my daddy won't mind. She knows how to go to him and get something when I say no she can't have it or and he doesn't know that I said no but he feels that she should be able to do whatever she wants. I am a parent who believe's in time out and coming down to her level but nothing is working anymore and it hurts to the point that I cry because I miss our bond. What do you think I could do.

My son is 2 1/2 and it is way past due for him to stop breastfeeding. He is not much of a food eater. He is very meticulous and is limited to the things he likes. He likes chicken, rice, noodles, yogurt, soybeans, noodles and corn. He eats other foods occasionally but that is his main items he likes.
How can I get him to stop breastfeeding and eat a different variety of foods. Have I mentioned that he is very stubborn and he loves to breastfeed? Help me.

what the 16,17,18yrs old of today are really up to
like when they say kids binge drink, we dont binge drink, we go on binges on coke, ecstasy,shrooms,and prescription drugs.
we used to binge drink back in 8th grade. the media and basically parents have no idea what we really do.
i think if they just were to ask an actually cool late teen one of the many stories we have , the country would be shocked.
noone has really any idea how reckless we are.
when our generation gets to be in their 20s or 30s i think then the country will find out how reckless we really are. i know people know we are bad but not nearly as bad as we really are. its gonna be a shock to alot of people what our lives consist of in an everyday basis. the kid that were seniors probably just 4 years ago , have NOTHING ON US. much less the kids from the 80s or 70s. so never believe what you hear on the media about teens or any statistics about teens cause changes are we really are 15x more bad then that.
