I know 3 gals with the name Cheyenne and they are 3 different generations. Nobody named Brooklyn however. The one gal was named Cheyenne April and the other two have middle names of respected relatives. I'm of the school that the middle name should be something that is meaningful and not just something that sounds good.

Ugh! Yes, of course (don't we all? LOL).

I have a cousin named Cheyenne -- little blond-haired, blue-eyed Irish/Italian child without a drop of Native American blood. It doesn't fit at all! LOL Completely goofy, trendy and a bit disrespectful (we have family members on the other side who ARE part Native American, and it's actually considered quite rude ... akin to how a child named Japanese or Iroquois might come across to someone from those cultures).

And of course I've come across a fair share of little Cheyennes (or the sadly misspelled "Shy-Ann" types LOL) and Brooklyn(n)s at my daughter's school, the playground, pediatrician's office and any random birth announcement you can find. Very popular and randomly trendy at the moment (like Cheyenne, most "Brooklyns" have no connection to the place they're obviously named for).

I won't share my cousin's full name, not having her parents' consent and all, but in very general terms, most girls I've seen with these "names" are given equally trendy, filler, insubstantial and/or dated middles. Cheyenne Nicole, Brooklyn Skye, Cheyenne Jade, Brooklyn Madison, Cheyenne Nevaeh, Brooklyn Dakota, etc. You'll rarely come across a Cheyenne Mary or Brooklyn Charlotte, after all. LOL Completely different styles.

No offense meant, yet i do no longer look after the names. "Laila Brooklynn" is a misspelling of two ordinary names, it incredibly is only inquiring for difficulty. Being misspelled and unusual, the two names would be an countless source of issues for individuals to spell and pronounce. additionally, the two names sound very immature and childlike, which at the instant are not a issues i could saddle a baby with. while naming a baby, you're able to remember that the youngster will use that call no longer only interior the playground, yet on his or her college degree and in his or her expert life.
