I have a three month old daughter and I've let her watch television a few times. Is this bad? What are the negative sides to this? Any positive sides?

I need to make cupcakes, not alot, only a dozen. I have flour, baking soda/powder, eggs, milk, vanilla, margerine. Main problem is I only have 1/3cup of sugar, but I have applesauce and brown sugar if that helps.

He pulls the chairs out and climbs on them to get up to the table. I can't lock him out of the kitchen, because we have just one big open space that is sectioned off into kitchen/ dining/ living room. I've tried tipping the chairs on their sides, but all that does is make someone trip over them and it looks terrible. I am at my wits end. Do you have any suggestions?

So there is this kid, and he is in 5th grade and he has had many altercations before but today it went out of hand. This kid is not mental! He was running down the hallways cussing, and pushing people out of the way, my mother who is a teacher, grabbed him and told him to stop. Then he started cussing at my mother and punching, kicking, and puching my mother and many other teachers. This kid had also pushed my little(5th grade) brother in the brick wall 5 times! My dad and i are both poed and we dont know what to do. do you think that i have the right to be poed and to go and complain to the principle tommorow that this kid needs to be expelled?

I am 15 weeks pregnant, almost 16 and am having really bad pain on the sides of my stomach and belly button. I've been drinking a lot of water and really haven't done any heavy activity. No bleeding and no other symptoms. Anyone know what this could be or how I can relieve the pain?

I have a 6yr. old son 1st grader. He is a bright boy, but his teacher tells me he has trouble reading. Well actually he has trouble putting letters together to say a word. He knows the sounds letters make. And he is good at spelling. We read together at night and do flash cards, even have a leap frog computer game that helps with spelling out words. Do I need to maybe have see a counsler to see if he has a learning problem or is their other reading tips out there that might help? Any school teachers out there let me know what you think I should probably try.

Ok so my 6 yr old said a bad word at school today. He's not said many in his life really and in our house we unfortunately use some choice words to which i am trying to repair. So i thought about saop in the mouth. Has anyone else had troubel with this and if so how did you handle it getting the best results. We are definately going with Mary (after my late grandmother)but are looking to use a 'double name'. My husband loves Mary-Kate but I am always hearing...'where's Ashley' as soon as I tell people what the name may be. I don't want to brand my child or make it difficult for her when she gets older. My husband and I are seriously butting heads about this. He is Mexican, and I am white, which means, our baby, it's a boy, will be named after him, which will make our son the 4th. I'm okay with that, but the disagreement is the middle name. He doesn't want him to have one, I do. He says it's not "customary" in his "culture" for the boy to have a middle name, I agree. But in his "culture" it IS "customary" for the boy to carry his mothers maiden name as the middle name, my husband just chose to drop his mothers maiden name a few years ago. I told him our son could do the same if he chooses. But my husband absolutely REFUSES to allow my maiden name to be a part of our sons. I jokingly said it would be cool, because my maiden name is Henry, which is Enrique in Spanish, and I am a huge Enrique Iglesias fan. Could my husband have internal jealousy (silly I know, but could be true), about that? That's the only reason I think he doesn't want Enrique being a part of the name.

Here's a story about a 20 month old boy who swallowed SEVERAL DOZEN AquaDots and went into a coma. Regardless of the fact that the product is flawed (the coating turns to GHB in the body) who was supervising this child? How does a toddler get into this item and swallow several dozen before he is stopped?! Should a charge of negligence be brought against whoever was caring for the boy at the time? What do you think of the recall?

Im preganant and have a fair while to go yet. I'll be 16 when the baby is born ( yes i know.. young, but damage is done now and i have to deal with it ) I want the best for my child so im hoping to breast feed. I have discovered that my hubby doesnt like the name I picked for a boy if we have one!! ( Russell Cordale Pittman) Which is after his father and my grandfather. I can think of no other names I think he might like! Even suggested naming after him
