The name is very pretty, however as someone who has grown up with a hyphenated name it can be difficult. Everything from teachers, to graduation certificates, to be entered into computer programs, to having a driver's license issued. Most computer programs do not allow for a hyphen in a name, therefore if she hyphenates the child will constantly run in to having her name appear as such:
KylaMarie
Kylamarie
Kyla Marie
Kyla M
In some states they will insist that her maiden name be used as a middle name when she is an adult and married for such things as a driver's license. She may also end up seeing:
Kylamarie NMN (no middle name) on official documents.
Just some things to consider that those who don't have middle names aren't generally aware of.

Remove the hyphon, then change the middle name. Marie is too common. Kyla Madeline is cuter.

I like it. But personally, I like Kayla better than Kyla, and hyphenated names often mean playground problems.
