Pregnancy & Parenting - 1 November 2007

I had a miscarriage 2 months ago and my period has not returned. My doctor prescibed Provera and I took it for 5 days from Oct 25th thru Oct 29th it has been 3 days since I have taken any provera and still no sign of AF. I took a pregnancy test before I started provera and again yesterday just to make sure, both Negitive.

For those of you that have taken it before to induce AF how ling after stopping the pills did AF arrive?

I live in Ohio and am on Ohio Medicaid (Amerigroup) for my 4 yr old. I was told by his pediatrician to call the office towards the end of October to schedule a flu shot. When I called two weeks ago- I was told the shots for 'kids on state insurance' were gone. Apparently the state only sends out a few for these kids. So I asked what else I could do, and they said to call the health department. I did that and was told they don't get shots for kids until the end of November! My boy has serious breathing problems and needs a shot. I hear they are so plentiful this year and yet I can't find one for my son- even when I try to pay out of pocket! Other dr's offices say he has to be a patient there already to get one this year. I am so frustrated I don't know what the do. Anyone else having this problem, or do you have any suggestions?

i had unprotected sex about a week ago, but he pulled out, and like, 2 days later my breasts started hurting. but they normally do before my period. and i am supposed to start my period soon. so i dont know if its becaues of my period or the fact that i may be pregnant.

I am 34 weeks pregnant with twins, both are breech, my consultant and I have had several discussions about the pros and cons of vaginal delivery versus c-section.
I was wanting to know if anyone has experience of delivering breech babies vaginally, and how other people found having a c-section in comparison to having a vaginal birth.

I just had my sonogram a few days ago and found out I'm Having a boy!!!... I absolutley love the name Scott.. I was wondering if the guys out there named scott like their name or was picked on having this name.. I don't know anyone who has the name that can give me any input on if its a good name as a boy teenager or adult. Kyla Victoria named after my mom and her mom except my mom's name is just Vickie and her mom's name is Kay but I like Kyla better than Kayla so Kyla Victoria came to mind if we have a little girl next.
and maybe Kingston David for a boy....? David is my dad's name and Kingston I fell in love with a couple years ago when I held a 3 week old tiger with the name... I was In love with Tigers growing up and i feel like it was a sign for what to name a future son. Or am i weird?

When he comes home all he wants to do is spend time with me. And yes i think its sweet and I know he loves me by this action and am greatful for it and him. But when I've heard them yelling, bickering, and just being brats all day or when I get home from work. Im ready to pull my hair out... I dont want to be around them any more..lol i still love them but at times I just need a break and I think when he comes home he could help out with the lil problems the kids may have.. then I can be a better mom an wife.
He shuts his bedroom door turns on tv or talks to me.. kids want his attention too, but seriously he wont give it to them.
And yes they are his biological children 3 girls, 16 11 an 7.
When they have a problem, they dont even go to him, they come straight to me. I know why, cuz if they go to him he gives some smart a** answer and basically says leave me alone.. It sucks to see my kids be hurt by this. Makes me not want to be close to him. He's just pushing us away.

i can understand why people get them, people have different pain during labor (both levels of pain & tolerances) and there are definitely reasons TO get them, i'm not saying that there aren't.

BUT, as with ANY medication or intervention, don't you agree that there *are* risks, there *are* potential side effects? wouldn't avoiding any of the potential risks & side effects be a very valid *reason* to opt for no epidural?

we have been together for 5 months, and agreed to be exclusive. I found out he was setting up a meeting with another girl on the internet so I broke up with him immediately. He said he truely loves me and did want a life with me and he didnt plan to cheat on me, he was concerned our relationship may not last long(several reasons). He wouldnt purse another relationship nor had sex while we were together. He said still what he did was wrong and he was sorry for hurting me. He didnt ask me to take him back but took down his profile and said he was going to be single for a while and do some serious self-evaluation.
today I found out Im pregnant, I havent told him yet.
do you think what he said is sincere? should I keep this child? Im 26, he is 35

My husband wants to name our son after himself. At the beginning of my pregnancy, I agreed. But I have had second thoughts, and I no longer want to name our son after my husband. I told him that it would confuse people, including myself. When I suggested that we have his name as our sons middle name, he ignored me. Now he's refusing to have anything to do with picking out names. He claims ALL names are ugly except his own. I told him that he's being really childish, and I would really like him to consider other names too. But he just glares at me and refuses to say or do anything.

Should I just go ahead and pick my own names and name our son myself, even if he doesn't like it? Is there any other way I can try to get him involved with picking a name other than his own? Naming after our fathers is not an option, I have suggested this and it was turned down too.
