Provera????

Question

I had a miscarriage 2 months ago and my period has not returned. My doctor prescibed Provera and I took it for 5 days from Oct 25th thru Oct 29th it has been 3 days since I have taken any provera and still no sign of AF. I took a pregnancy test before I started provera and again yesterday just to make sure, both Negitive.

For those of you that have taken it before to induce AF how ling after stopping the pills did AF arrive?

I took provera for five days Oct 17-Oct 21 and I had af Oct 26, so it took about 5 days for me to start my cycle.Mine actually came immediately following sex...I don't know if that had anything to do with it.

Hi!! I haven't taken Provera but have read some about it and i believe it can take 5-10 days for some women to get their period after taking the last pill. If it doesn't happen by 10 days then see your doctor because you may need a higher dose. Best wishes this cycle.

I don't know if you read my update from today but I did get my af at 16 dpo. Hubby and I are going to take the next 2 months off from charting, opks, and clomid. Then the first of the year we may see if my ob/gyn thinks I need a specialist. I actually feel so great to be set free from my charting and the whole ttc life. We are also planning a mini vacation. Just wanted to update you because I know you have been a big help in my ttc journey. Best wishes to you!!!!

I toke provera 10mg for 5 days and AF arrive 5 days after, it can take up to a week before af arrive hang in there

Provera can start your period up to 10 days after taking the last pill. If it doesn't start then, the dose may be too low or there is something else wrong. Follow up with your doc.
