Is it hard to get pregnant for the first time if you are in your early thirties? How much do the chances decrease? Also, do risks for birth defects increase?

My girlfriend and i had unprotected sex while she was on the pill, 2 days later she took the plan B pill but now its another 2 days later(she went on placebos the day after we had sex) and im a little worried she might be pregnant. how long is a reasonable time to wait for her period before i really need to worry about it and when would a pregnancy test become accurate so we will know if she needs to terminate.

My husband's Grandma is about to pass away. They live a little over 5 hours away. We have a 15 month old and I don't know what to do. I don't want to be disrespectful and not go to the funeral at all. My son barely made the 3 hour trip to go camping over the summer. Even if I were to go with my husband over to his family, should a 15 month old even go to a funeral? I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving him with anyone over there to watch him...everyone that I do know will be at the funeral. So do I just stay home or still go or what? I feel so bad that his grandma isn't going to be around much longer and I don't want to make things harder on anyone if I don't go. We've been married for about a year and a half now. we've been together for over 4 1/2 years. My son is still nursing from me at night and in the morning and he's teething right now so he wakes up crying a few times a night. My husband is visiting her in the hospital right now.

I am 7 weeks pregnant and went to the er because i am spotting and have excessive back pain the doctor checked me and stated that my cervix is still closed but it is a threatened misscairage, it makes me sad because i dont want to lose my baby. Has this happened to anyone and did you still make it through it and have a healthy baby.

I thought this morning I would be starting my period, due to some light cramping, but after going to the bathroom and doing #2, the cramping went away. But I had a ton of white-Yellowish Cervical Mucus.

As of today, Its been 29 days since Ive had my last period. They average 28-30 days apart. AF is no where in sight!

Have any of you ladies had this and did have a period?

I'm 38 weeks pregnant, and I'm just feeling soo irritable. My husband, I dont even want him around me half the time, my brother came over and he always says things like "you don't even look pregnant, you just look fat" and I'll say in response, "I really don't appreciate that you know, I feel really horrible right now and yes, I feel fat" and he'll say "sorry, obese a better term?" and I just want to rip everyone's heads off. I want to be left alone all the time unless someone was to massage my back, or comfort me somehow, but no one ever offers and when I ask its like I'm some big pain in the butt. I dont know how to fix how I'm feeling but I just dont feel like anyone cares, and I dont know what to do to get rid of this mood I've been in.

My parents tell my 16-year-old sister to come home at midnight, and most of the time she wanders in at 4AM. When my parents confront her about it, she acts as if she has a right to come in that late. My parents go to work early in the morning, and can't monitor her that late at night because they have to sleep. When they try and ground her, she goes out anyway, either from work or school. She's sassy, beligerant, never does any chores, and sleeps all day. She's already been kicked out, but my parents can't kick her out now because she has nowhere to go. I was never that way when I was young, I was reclusive and obeyed my parents. What should they do?

I have been breastfeeding my son for 3 1/2 months and I just started experiencing tenderness in my left breast up by my armpit. I do not have a lump or redness and my nipples are fine. I lifted light weights the other day. Could I have strained something or do you think it is something else? Anyone have a similar feeling?

this job needs me to start this week and I'm almost 30 weeks and my due date is in begining of january.

My husband and I are expecting baby number two, due December 15th! We have finally come to agreement on these names, now we just need to choose between them. We do not know if it is a boy or a girl, because the child was not cooperating at our 25 week sonogram. It had it's little legs crossed.
