You should do things without being told to do them.

If you see the kitchen a mess clean it up or the bathroom.

Clean your room without being told.

Do things without being ask to do them.

I did these things and my allowance was increased.

you are able to desire to get an allowance enhance for doing better than putting off the trash. purely start up washing the dishes after dinner and working the vacuum on the weekend, washing your clothing and the towels and washclothes for the week, sparkling the washing room, help your siblings in case you have any do something. there is plenty which you're able to do yet stop looking forward to to gets a commission for each little thing however. i guess in case you start up doing even a number of the flaws above devoid of inquiring for extra money then they're going to easily provide it to you. attempt it

You shouldn't expect your mom and dad to pay you for doing chores.

Kids are SUPPOSED to help regardless of whether they get an allowance or not. Parents work hard to provide food, clothing and shelter and it's ungrateful of a teenager to ask for money simply because they are helping maintain the house.

Don't ask for more money. What you really need to do is look for more ways to help your parents and show them how grateful you are that they care for you.

Ask your parents. We don't live with you. Maybe their finances are only allowing them to pay you the $20/month. Save your money.

If you ask for too much, its more worth it to them if they do it. Thge proper way to do it, is to offer to do more and not ask for more money. They will be more generous that way, because it would have been their idea, not their greedy childs idea. But remember, its called an "allowance" which means they "allow" you to have "their" money, so try and be happy with what you get.
