we don't know what we are having and I'm having a hard time making a choice.
I will probably change my mind again, but this is what I have come up with so far.
Alexis (we all like this name)
Makayla ( my 5 year old picked it out)
Kayla ( my husband and I love it)
Tessa ( I love it)

I love Makayla and Tessa.
I'd say go with Makayla. You and your husband both love Kayla, which is in the name, and you 5 year old will feel important for helping to pick out the name!
However, if you all love Alexis, go with that!!

I like Makayla the best although I don't think it is a good name for an adult. Think about when your child is older and applying for a job, Alexis and Makayla sound like names for children. I really don't like Tessa at all. So maybe so for Kayla

Out of all of them, I like Alexis and Tessa the most! Makayla and Kayla are a bit too trendy for me - she'd be one of millions.
Plus, Alexis and Tessa will probably transition the best into adulthood.

Alexis/Alexa - way common and so are Makayla and Kayla. Tessa on the other hand is both uncommon and pretty. It means Harvester. Personally I like Tessa Keelin.

Alexis is cute and also like Alexa. Makayla is adorable and you could use Kayla as a the nickname. Tessa is ok but not my favorite.

I really love Alexis. It isn't too common, and it would work with any kind of girl; a girly-gril or a tomboy. Alex would be a great nickname :) Middle name ideas: Alexis Julianna. I love this!<3
Makayla is very nice too. It's not very common and reminds of of a very brave warrior queen. (Amazon). It's very pretty.
I don't like Kayla very much. Kayla always reminds of a little bratty girl.
I really love Tessa too! Tessa reminds me of a very caring and generous girl; always smiling :) Middle name ideas: Tessa Jane, Tessa Marie
Overall I think all of these are very beautiful and great names, but I like them in this order: (favourite to least favourite) Alexis, Tessa, Makayla, Kayla

How about Makayla -first name, Kayla for short, and Alexis for middle? Makayla Alexis. Personally, in our area any form of Alex for a first name for girls and boys is way over done.

I like Makayla and Tessa, but I like Mikayla better than Makayla. Your five-year-old had good taste!

1) Juliet Elizabeth
2) Noah Grier (I know...it's tomboyish, but I love it)
