Is it hard to get pregnant for the first time if you are in your early thirties? How much do the chances decrease? Also, do risks for birth defects increase?

According to my doctor the chance of birth defects don't increase until after age 35. I don't know if it is harder to get pregnant in your early 30s but for example, I got pregnant first try with my daughter when I was 26 and this time it took us 3 months to get pregnant with your 2nd and I'm now 29. Hope this helps!
