With teen sex happening all the time, do you think there should be more classes and information givin out at schools?
do you think we just turn a blind eye and think, nah not our kid she is raised right?
there are free clinics all over town, i live in a small town and we have 9! that give out FREE birthcontrol , but yet teens are not taking advantage of it and there are more and more that end up pregnant and on welfare and in the system for years.
what do you think, if anything can be done to keep teens aware and safe?

Let me start by saying that I was adopted. I don't feel that I've lost anything. I've got wonderful parents who love me and would do anything for me. I was a desperately wanted child. I never think about my birth mother. My adoptive parents were perfect.
My parents were always very honest with me, I never didn't know that was adopted, it was a fact, not a huge part of our life as a family. I don't think I've lost anything at all, and I'll probably never go looking for my birth mother, unless some strange genetic thing comes up with my own children, I don't see the point. So my question is: Why bash adoption? Because you made a choice that you are having a hard time living with? I read somewhere on here that birth mothers should get to keep their babies to 8-10 weeks because we let puppies stay with their mothers that long. This is crazy, you and baby bond during the first days, that is why the child should be turned right over to the adoptive parents.

Don't worry it's not suicide, she's lost the will to get good grades.
She has an F and a C. Just some family background, we are Indian (Asian) meaning me (older bro) and my sister up to this point hav never gotten anything below a B.
She is just a sophomore- I'm a senior. If anyone should be slacking right now its me but I'm studying 4-12 everyday (of course very inefficiently) while she is studying too but still getting F's.
My mom and her just had a heart to heart, and she knows she SHOULD be trying, but she just doesn't seem to care, she can't find the will to get good grades, the urge for academic success.

She's definitely smart and hasn't had any problems up to this point.....DOES ANYONE HAV A SOLUTION!!!!
How do I motivate my sister?? Help her through this??
my parents are going to pieces, and they've even started comparing the two of us and lamenting.
I'm going to college next year I dont need **** between my family, how do I FIX THIS!!!

My 15 year old daughter just came to live with me. She lived with her father from age 10 to 15. I like having her with me, but do feel the pressure of being a single parent.

All of the responsiblity falls on me - helping her with studies, enrolling and taking her to classes, and also cooking/ cleaning and shopping for our apartment.

I keep thinking that she would be better off with both parents. Yet, my ex-husband would not help me much with her when we were together. He would work late and if he was home, he would ignore me or pick fights with me about minor trivial things.

I feel sad that my daughter has had to go through so much transition because her parents could not get along.

I am trying to make the best of each day, but sometimes wonder what she did to deserve a disruptive life.

She wanted her and myself to move to the state where my ex-husband is now living.

I have two children Casey and Tyler they are twins 2 years old.
We live in an apartment and the Man living next door is a very nice man, he is about ym husbands age maybe 1 year or 2 younger. He is a very god babysitter so he babysitts our children he also comes over alot to have a beer or two with my husband. My children have devloped a graet bond with our neighbor but now i am worried. Today while they were watching TV with him Casey called him dada!, and hes not her dad! i don't want my children to think he is there father! what should i do? my husband does not know yet what should i do?

The first day of my LMP was july 26 2007 I am fairly regular. To day is 10-8-07, I have taken 7 hpt all neg. So im about 74 days since lmp and 43 days late for the one i i should have had in august This would be number 2, and i feel pregnant. has anyone else had this problem?

At 2 1/2 months, how many ounces did your baby take at each feeding and how many times per day?

OK, so I know "every baby is different", but I'm trying to get an idea of whether or not my son is eating too much. I didn't have any problems with my daughter, but I don't know what to do with my son.

He weighs right at 11.5 pounds (was 6 lbs 10 oz at birth) and the doctor isn't at all concerned. His "output" is normal, but he acts like he's hungry A LOT. Right now he's getting 5 ounces 7-8 times a day (35-40 oz in a 24 hour period). I know the general rule is 2-3 oz per pound of baby, but that puts us at 23-35 oz each day, and I feel like I'm feeding him too much. Is this normal???

I gave birth on 9/13, my baby was born premature (at 23 weeks) but I gave natural birth. I am wondering how long before I get my period. I bled from the time of birth till last Saturdays and then I started bleeding again on Thursday. Is it safe to assume that this is my period?
