does anyone know about this, and if it's treatable for a newborn? Does this mean she has it to? Can others be infected by her or the baby?

1. I'm 22 wks & 5 days pregnant today with my first baby. I'm having aching cramps in my lower tummy but he's still moving. Is this round ligament pain?

2. Seeing as though I'm a little over 5 1/2 months, when will everyone else be able to touch my belly and feel him kick?

3. Did you have your baby natural? If so why & would you do it again?

Thanks guys! =]

When I first met my bf, he told me he didnt believe in marriage, although we have talked about the subject recently. Been together for three years. Now he really wants to have a baby and I don't want to have a baby without being married to him, even though I do want a baby now. Is this really old-fashioned thinking or just smart thinking?

Im 35 + 4 weeks went to midwives last tuesday, she said she found a trace of glucose in my urine sample, then when she measured my bump she looked a little bit concerend she asked what weight my first daughter was when born she was only 6 lb14 oz. She then measured me again when she marked it down in my notes i measured over the top line. She didnt test my blood for glucose and told me when i go to hospital appointment on thursday to tell them. I am now worried because she looked concerened but just fobbed me off.

I work at a day care in the infant room.. well Friday I got puked on and woke up Saturday with nauseousness, extremely tired/no energy that has persisted to this morning. I'm on the birth control shot, but it should be up in less than a week.
I only thought i had the stomach flu until my fiance's family started joking about morning sickness. or i was just over stressed cause we were in the middle of moving across town into a new apartment.

I know ya'll can't tell me if I'm pregnant or not, i just want some other opinions on if it's plausible to even peruse going out and getting a pregnancy test. or using the last bit of pocket money i have to go to the doctor for the flu,

My seventeen month old daughter has learnt how to climb out of the cot and does it as soon as she has finished her milk. I have now put her matress next to our bed but find it impossible to get her off to sleep. She was always a bad sleeper but now impossible. She ran around until she passed out at 23:00 last night, and woke up again at 04:00 am and from then a few times until 07:00. Now I am trying to get her down for her lunchtime nap but it is 14:00 already and she is still running around. What to do, please help. I have noticed the normal things like pushing her in the buggy or riding in the car etc. does not work anymore, she starts crying from tiredness but can't get to sleep. Help.

i'm 19wks pregnant, but my baby has been moving A LOT lately!!! she is my first, i THINK it's a lot, but i really don't know.. lol :P last night, i was falling dozing off and i woke up to a little punch, then i felt kicking. i was like "what the hell?!" haha :D when i told my husband, he said "oh she's going to be bad, i know it!", my mom said, "she's going to a hyper one" and my mom-in-law told me, "she's probably going to be like her daddy" i know they're joking around, but can that be true? if your baby moves a lot then they're going to be not bad, but "not so calm"?! lol :) i'm just curious.. thx :)

It has been 5 months since i had my baby, of course i bled about 4-6 weeks after, and then my cycle began a month later for about 5 days, well my last 2 cycles were 3 weeks apart and lasted about 4-6 days. Then i started again on saturday which made it only 2 weeks ago that i had my last cycle!! They seem normal not heavy or anything, im just wondering if this is normal or not, should i call attention to it with the doc?

I always have normal periods w/ light flow and last only 5 days. This last period, however, was very heavy and I was experiencing a lot of clotting in the flow (with additional spotting longer than 5 days). It is possible that I may have been pregnant. Any ideas of why???

we have tried at a certain time of the day to get him to link that time with a bottle fed, but he seems to know when we have it in our hands and gets really upset and wont take it,
any tricks to giving a bottle, he has taken it in the past on occassions but not consistently...
would just like the reassurance that if i needed to miss a feed he would take a bottle, or should i wait until he is a little older to have solids and maybe supplement with formula
any suggestions

I have compromised the matter with my son who insisted to suck. I've agreed with him to allow him to taste my breastmilk in a cup. I told him that it's Ok to embrace and kiss my breast (but not nipple) only from above the shirt. It means that he is not allowed to kiss or suck my nude breast. He embraced me and kiss my breast (not nipple) from above the shirt and striked his face with my nipple (it wasn't nude) for 1 minute and kissed my face too. Lucky, he didn't suck forcibly as like as he did before 2 days. Read my previous question to understand.

However, I won't smack him if he try to pull my breast outside shirt (I hope he won't do) but I will resist him from sucking and I will remind him with our agreement. In my opinion, the adults are vexed when they're told that they do something wrong. Therefore, I don't want to let him feel that he is abnormal in comparison with his classmates. I don't also want him to do odd behaviour with compared with his age.

Is this solution Ok ?

My 12 month old son nurses about every 4 hours (about 4 times a day), but I am trying to get him down to nursing at just morning and night. However, I have tried everything--cold and warm milk, in a sippy cup and bottle, having my hubbie and friend try giving it to him and he almost always rejects it and I end up nursing. In a weeks period he accepted the bottle twice so I know that he likes the taste, he would just rather nurse. The reason that I am concerned is that he is at the bottom of the growth curve and needs as many calories as he can get. He does not eat very good at mealtime either. Does anyone know if there are more calories in breastmilk or whole milk? Any info would be helpful, Thanks

My friend and I are both first-time mums, and so I'm not sure whether I'm right but it seems to me that she is overfeeding her baby. She breastfed for the first week but found it too demanding. He is now bottle fed but she also started him on baby food at 3 months - saying that he was ready to start having solids because 'he woke during the night meaning he was hungry and the bottles weren't enough'. In the space of 3 hours that I spent with her recently, she gave him a 9oz bottle, followed by a large jar of baby macaroni cheese, a large jar of baby rice pudding, then another 9oz bottle straight after (I'm just brestfeeding so have no idea if this is a lot of formula or not) and then he had another bottle half hour later, and pooped 3 times during this time that absolutely stank! I don't want to lecture her, because I too am a first time mum, and I'm breastfeeding so not too sure about how much you should bottle feed but don't want her little boys health to suffer.
