I found out about 4 weeks ago that i am pregnant, never been so hapy in my life as i was told that getting pregnant was very difficult with my past fertility problems. I've been with my fella for nearly 8 months now and i love him very much, he is 21 and i am 26. we both tell each other we love one another and feels great. i am 2 months pregnant and he didn't take it well when i told him, he said he is far to young for a baby, he told me tonight that if i have the baby then he wants absolutly nothing to do with me.. but if i get rid then he'll stay.. even me thinking about having an abortion is wrong because i so want this baby but i'm scared of losing my fella and really scared of being on my own with a baby.. i want both and i'm scared in case i make the wrong choice...

I think this guy likes me. I broke my foot a month ago. Then he started hangin out with me. Then I got off my rutches and now he trys to trip me. Hey, I really need help to determine if one of my best guy friends likes me as more than just a friend. We've known each other for like 5-ish years and been good friends for like 2. Whenever we hang out (everyday in the summer and every weekend basically--except for when we're in college) it's in a group setting, but we have hung out just us a few times. He knows I like him, but I personally didn't tell him or talk to him about this. Even after he found out he didn't act like awkward around me at all. The way he acts in general towards me confuses me too...if you need more info just let me know. Any advice will greatly help! The thing is, we're not 'going out' or dating or anything like that. Also, the last time my friend brought something up about "us", he said that he wouldn't want a relationship with us going away to college and when he doesn't have a lot of money to spend. Do you think he said that just to be nice, or did he actually mean that maybe something will happen later?

When my daughter was left with her daddy (my ex) about 2weeks ago for one day he told me that his mom was not wiping my daughter properly. He told her and told her to go front to back but when he told her she told him she knew what she was doing and there would be no problems. He said she was even doing it when my daughter would have a BM. So since her grandma was going back to front could there possibly be an infection? If she has one would I have known by now? She is 11 weeks. And he just told me today what happened 2 weeks ago.

If a seven-year-old child has been up much of the night and been having nightmares and is still looking peaky should the *first* thing a parent do is to ask him to fetch his schoolbag so she can see what homework he has and then tell him that they are going visiting today and he will have to sit and do the homework on Sunday upsetting the child after he has been relaxed at last after a troubled night and leaving him in tears as they get into the car?
Shouldn't a child's health and welfare (which includes his state of mind which affects physical health too especially if sleep is disturbed) come ahead of schoolwork which he can catch up with anytime.
I never made my boys do homework if they were sick and I would never have allowed the school to pressure them so at the age of seven anyway.
What sort of world are we creating for our children by putting them under such pressure - and shouldn't parents be resisting that not adding to it?

I breastfed my son for 18 months and have just reluctantly stopped.
Since stopping i feel so miserable, i dont understand why.
I know i did well to do it for so long and gave him the best start. Im proud of myself.
I wondered if maybe breastfeeding gives you happy hormones and now ive stopped its like a downer.
Has anyone else experienced the same?
