ok calm down. teething fever is ok. just keep it under control. do not let your baby cry a lot, as this can raise fever and give a headache. give him infant's pain reliever, the drops. if he doesnt take it, try mixing it into the milk adn having him drink it in a few minutes. check temperature hourly, and if it goes over 102, take him to the hospital they will probably give his a shot. babies heal best asleep, so try to get him sleepy. when he is least cranky, try giving him his favorite snacks. cut veggies into fun shapes. cut watermelon into squares, and into balls with a spoon or a tiny ice cream scoop. keep him hydrated this way. fruits have lots of water, so his electrolytes will not drop. dont worry he will be ok. just try these suggestions, and if they dont work, use your mommy instinct and consult his physician.

Okay there is this fluid stuff that is in the grocery stores it is for babies you are not eating for any reason, also get the baby one of those fever reducer head patches. Hope the little one feel better soon as well as you because I know how it is to have a baby you care about so much that is sick.

My little guy did the same thing the other day, just keep offering food, he will eventually take something. Also the teething caused the fever, so keep him on tylenol for a day to keep ahead of the temp.

Good luck to you.

don't worry about his appetite - it will come back when he feels better. i would try to introduce 'clear' fluids - if you know what "pedia-lyte" is get something like that and try to give it to him.
