Pregnancy & Parenting - 22 September 2007

My 16 month old wakes many times during the night with gas. I have tried mylicon drops, limiting gas causing foods, lactose free milk and even meds prescribed by the doctor. He wakes many times during the night with his knees to his chest crying. His doctor has pretty much given up on finding a cure or cause and I wondered if anyone else had experienced this and could help me with ways to deal with it.

My baby is only 3 years old and i'm concerned, to me seems like he is going to be lefthanded. I wounder if it has to do with what we teach him. We tell him to use his rigth hand, My question is are people naturally lefthanded.

My personal feeling is that having a sexual relationship between the same sex is against God's plan of salvation. (LDS)

However, I think I am at least tolerant of it. In the past I have had many wonderful friends who have choosen to live differently then how I believe we should.

I am a little nervous though because my teenager step daughter is dating a girl and I have mixed feelings on what I should be teaching my daughter.

I don't want to hurt my step daughters feelings (i don't want her to feel not welcome in our home or accpected) but I feel that it is my duty to teach my daughter God's teaching (including loving one another).

As of right now, I have asked my hubby to not allow his daughter to bring her girlfriend to our house until I figure out how I should handle this.

What do you think? How would you handle this...

I have a few questions regarding breastfeeding. 1. Other than increasing the times your baby feeds can you increase your amount of milk by pumping? 2. I have a 4 month old - I feel he isn't getting enough to eat. Today I fed him every two hours during the day - which is fine - but could my milk be decreasing??? He has been exclusively breastfed.
I am just worried I don't have enough milk. Thanks so much

4th day cramping and twinging ovaries!!!...according to my BBT my temps are slightly rising the last 3 days.....is this normal? i dont remember cramping for 4 days...usually 1 ..... anyone else experience this????

So about 5 weeks ago Me and my boyfriend were messing around. I think some pre-*** touched near my vagina. I was scared that I could have been pregnant. But then I started my Period. It was Normal. I was still concerned I was pregnant, so I waited for my next period and it came on time and was Heavy and dark like usual. (lasted 6 Days) I dont think I could still be pregnant. But I heard you can have a period and be pregnant. Do you think I am pregnant?

my daughter is 25 months, knows 10 shapes, knows all her colours, can count to 10 and recognise each number, also recognises the names of each family member and reads a few words confidently.

but she keeps peeing on the floor!!! i have tried pull ups, pants, bribes, star charts. none of the others were like this. but i am feeling that because she is so ahead for her age, being potty trained is expected of her. my 2 boys were almost 3 before they were 'DRY' and my elder daughtewr was 30 months when she was dry so although i have experience i am completely baffled with her!!!!

any ideas???

I've taken 5 pregnancy test and they all said negative. The last time my period started was August 28. I've been constipated and feel sick sometimes but no other symptoms. I did recerntly lose about 10 lbs this summer but i though it was gradual and i also just started a new job and also school. I do get very bad stabbing pains in my stomach however especially if there is any pressure on my stomach area. The only thing is these pains are usually to the side of my body or right below my rib cage. I plan on going to see my gyn this week, but like I said 5 test all came up negative! Could it be b/c of my loestrin b/c it did make my period pretty abnormal. Oh there is another thing when I'm suppose to get my period i had a white discharge that would last the length of my period and then go away. Help me please!

I should be on my period this week. I just went to the batheroom and realized that i am bleeding but its not flowing with my urine. Sure theres blood there but its not normal to me. Could this be a sign of pregnancy or anything???

Will your cells be just that much older than your birthday age, and you'll develop just that much sooner than you would've otherwise?

However, experience with the world can only build up by existing in this world, you can't do that in the womb.

So how old is this baby really?

We are ttc and I *might* be preggo, as of this weekend. I have a dr appt tomorrow for a med check (not pg related). Can I ask them to do a blood test? Will it be too soon? I ordered some dip stick tests that are suppose to be used 6-8 days after ovulation. BUT, I figured if I'm there I might give it a shot & ask for it? How soon will PG show up in a dr blood test?

I was wondering how long would you let you child ride or stay ina stroller. I have a three year old seems that his stroller his favorite thing most of the time. We go our state zoo every two weeks to have a fun day. My three year would ride his stroller at time and would get out and walk. If I don't have the stroller he would want to be carried and not walking. I let him ride the stroller and it would be easy on my back. I am a single mom with two boys.
