It's a Hebrew name, meaning "God is my father." I like it.

For a boy or a girl? How would it be pronounced? (av-ee-ah or av-eye-ah or something else?)
Why do you want a name for your child that everyone will have to ask him or her about? With a name like that, many people will misspell and mispronounce it, and many more will have questions about it. Aviah him-or herself will get the same questions about his or her name from everyone he or she meets. Are you ok with that? Is that what you're after? If not, I'd suggest you use this as a middle name.

I like it. It's similar to Ava, but more original. It has a pretty ring to it.
Aviah Olivia-- Aviah Veronice--- Aviah Vanessa....
All those names would be beautiful!
More importantly, do you like it? I say go for it if you do.

I think it's beautiful and think it would be nice for a girl.
It sounds feminine, yet has a strength behind it.
Does it have a meaning? If you use this for your child, and it doesn't have a meaning, give it one. If so, perhaps a character trait that sums up what you want it to convey or a special characteristic you hope your child will have or develop.

etc.

Reminds me of the athletic footwear company, Avia. I have a hard time thinking of it as a child's name.
