Pregnancy & Parenting - 7 July 2007

My son has been potty trained fully since right b/f he turned 3 years old. However he still wears diapers to bed and to take a nap. We don't give him any water b/f bed and have him go pee and he still wakes up with a full diaper Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I accidentally bought barely starter cereal in the store instead of rice cereal for my 6 month old son. They had the same packaging and I was distracted. He has just started eating rice cereal 2 days ago, but they were sample packages and we ran out. He also has been strictly breastfed until then and I am currently breastfeeding as usual. I was wondering when can I start feeding him this barely cereal? (since I cannot take it back to the store because I threw out the receipt). He does seem to be very sensitive to things and even though it is a starter cereal I was worried he wouldn’t be ready quite yet for this. Anyways sorry for writing so much! Any help would be appreciated thanks!

My daughter is 3 months old and for 2 months now we have been letting her watch tv because it calms her down? She watches it for 3 or 4 hours a day. I have read that it can cause A D D or Autism...and I was just wondering if this was true or not? Anyone know if this could be harmful?

Otu of curiosity, i was just wondering, do you think it is alright to spank a child with a belt. I knwo some people who think it is ok, btu personally i think that crosses the line into abuse. What do you think. I was never hit with a belt growing up and myself and sibleings all turned out to be very descent, people. I was just wondering, do you think its alright or not? And if you do think its alright, what si the youngest age you would even consider doing it. I just could never do that to my children. But i do know a few people with kids who think its okay. so is it okay and if so youngest age?

Two days before my Birthday she told me it was over between us. I had worked all night the day before and did not call her to check on her or go over to her place. I realize how much of a mistake I made and this has happened once or twice before when I never called her and fell off the earth. I have never hurt her or cheated on her and she is the love of my life. I made a big mistake and she said there is no way I will ever get her back. Is it best to stay away and hope one day when the baby comes she will forgive me and take me back? I want toi be with her and the baby and have a family. Since she did that I have been doing everything I can to correct my life and my problems. Maybe when she sees a better me it will make her want me back. I really love her so much and miss her badly.

Vaigan I think it sounds so unique but not completely weird i got it from the movie "the last sin eater" his name was faigan but because of their accents it sounded like Vaigan. Please help us settle this. My husband and I are trying to teach our 17 year old son that flip flops are not safe to wear while driving. They're not secure on your feet and may get stuck between the gas and the brake peddle. My husband suggested that he wear topsiders instead.

These were cool for preppies 25 years ago, but I don't think they're still cool now. Do teenagers still wear them? Of not, what can you suggest he wear that is more secure for his feet and still be trendy.

Alright,so I was adopted out of my family when I was about a year old or so,I must admit I have dealt with it some what alright. I was also born quite premature,and about a year later my parents had a baby boy who was severly mentally disable since birth,and has been that way since then,he needs round clock care pretty much.So then not too long after I was born they gave me up to a couple that they knew,who are now my adoptive parents.After my brother was born about six years later they had their next son and a couple years after that they had another son.So the three kids live with them but I don't.
Latley they have been talking with me more,and wanting me to come over more,and do more things with them.


Do you think my biological parents had a good enough reason to give me up?

This is my first pregnancy, and my uterus is tipped. According to the doctor I am just over 12 weeks, though I seem to be measuring bigger than that.
