Pregnancy & Parenting - 7 July 2007

If I am pregnant I would have conceived exactly 16 days ago. I just took a CVS pharmacy digital pregnancy test and the screen didn't give me a result, it said "see leaflet". It said I either peed too much or too little but I didn't, I peed normal. Has anyone ever experienced this error and it mean they were pregnant??

I was wondering if it is too soon to take my 12 day old baby for a walk outside in a stroller, or one of those strap on body carriers? I would be on a slightly bumpy sidewalk, nothing out of the ordinary and I was thinking like 30 minutes? I don't know if he is too tiny yet, or if it would shake him up too much. He just seems so fragile! Thanks for your help.

We are traveling with toddler on a 2 1/2 hour flight for the first time. We are going to bring her carseat. Wondering if you have any suggestions on lugging everything around. Also any recs on strollers that would be perfect for travel/and for Disney. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks :)

I have not been using protection for about a month and now I am worried. My period is due for sometime around june 15. I have been having some symptoms like sore breasts again. I dont know if I should still be having that problem because I did not breast feed. I have had to pee alot lately too. I dont want another baby right now and I am not sure how fertile you are after having a baby 4 months ago. Has this ever happened to anyone?

I'm a SAHM of two boys ages 1yr and almost 3. Looking to watch acouple toddlers in my home to supplement our bills... While I'm not licensed I do have first aid cert/CPR.. I have a modest ranch in a really nice neighborhood, a private, fenced in yard with age appropriate toys. A/C and a downstairs playroom family room... My home is childproof. I wanted to charge for full-time $150 a week which included 2 meals/2 snacks the parents are responsible for formula if any and diapers if any as well as a change of clothes for each child.. I had a woman interested that I was willing to drop the price from $150-$125 however she needed me from 5:30 am - 5:30 pm M-F. She said that I was charging too much... Another woman wanted me to watch her child full time as well 32-40 hours, so I dropped it again to $100 and she said I was charging too much I've called other daycares and I'm wanting 1/2 or less than those... What is up with people and not wanting to pay? I live in Ohio suburb of Cleveland

My son was put on Axid about a month ago for reflux. He was doing great until the past couple days. His old symptoms are arising. Could it be that he may need a larger dosage? He weighs almost 13lbs. His dosage when prescribed last month was 1ml twice daily.

Ok I baby-sit 3 kids, there ages are between 5-10 and there are 2 girls and a boy. They get scared really easily. I need movies that the littlest one (age 5) will like and the oldest one will like (age 10) and not feel babied.

i'm 24 weeks pregnant and it's so hot here we don't have a/c though, so at night when i can't go someplace that has a/c (like the mall or the library) then i'm stuck in a house thats got to be over 100 degrees F. last night i couldn't sleep because i was just a sweat ball i sweat so much it was disgusting. is my baby ok with all this heat or what??

I am breastfeeding my 5 month year old almost exclusivly. But I do know that it is not a failsafe birthcontrol. Right now I am starting to feel like I have an increased appitiete and feel very sleepy and crampy sometimes. I can not rely on other signs such as tender breasts cause they always are from the breastfeeding. I do not want to keep buying expensive tests everytime i get paranoid. Anyone go through this before?

My friends baby was born yesterday but it was a stillbirth. She had been pregnant for about 11 months and had never went to get any prenatal care. She had been on the depo shot for a while and had stopped using it and immediately became pregnant. Could the chemicals inside her body have cause the baby's death? She is 37 so I think that couldn't have been a factor. My second question, I've never been through this situation and I am going to go see her at the hospital on Monday- What do I say to her? What should I do? I don't want to make this time worse, yet I don't want to remain silent. Please help
