This is my first pregnancy, and my uterus is tipped. According to the doctor I am just over 12 weeks, though I seem to be measuring bigger than that. Last night I could feel something along my spine, that almost felt like someone pushing on me. Is it possible that it could have been the baby kicking or moving?

I know it wasnt gas or anything like that, I know what those feel like. This was along my spine, and I was trying to figure out if it could be the baby moving, or if it might have to do with my uterus expanding

at that stage of pregnancy the kicking only feels like a little tapping or flicking.. if thats how it felt, maybe it could have been.

My uterus is also tipped, and its bi-cornate,meaning mine is a heart shaped, but it can also be in two. I felt mine move about 14 weeks, like that was happening. Every body is different. Some can feel their baby move months before someone that has around the same due date. Could also be your organs moving for room for the baby. Our bodies get twist turned up-side down and all around for carrying a baby. It could have also been the baby, but like the others said, the baby really is not big enough to be "pushing" yet. Unless your date is off since you said you are messuring bigger. Have fun and remember your prenancy, the first one only comes once, and each is different. And just wait till the baby plays kick ball with your bladder and your ribs.

Like the doctors say, every pregnancy is different. This is my first pregnancy and I just started feeling the baby kick like 2 weeks ago when i was 17 weeks. Honestly, it seems way to early to feel the baby kick and from what I've been experiencing the kicks are like little, light taps. and usually in the stomach not in the back. But who really knows!

good luck

that would be a bit too early to feel your baby kicking unless you are further along than 12 weeks. You usually start feeling kicks between 18-20 weeks sometimes at 17 weeks which is what i am now and i haven't felt anything yet. This is my second pregnancy my first i felt around 18 weeks.

Probably not. Usually you can feel the baby kicking between 16-20 weeks, earlier if you've had a baby before. My guess is it was a bm or gas that you felt from the pressure of the uterus.

You will mainly start feeling the baby move (or flutters) after 16-18 weeks, but there is no reason why it wasn't the baby moving. My daughter started kicking aty 14.5 weeks, and I've come across alot of people that have felt it earlier.

Congratulations

When I first felt movement, it was like a small pressure that might suddenly let up...everyone told me it was gas, but I could see my tummy moving when it happened. Gas does feel different during your pregnancy though, and you never now where it will feel funny the next time you get it, or how it will feel. Congratulations

Usually you don't feel the baby moving until 14 weeks and over. But like others have said it would feel like flutters. Not hard kicks.

It could have been, although you will feel it more distinctly in the months to come. First, you will feel a light fluttering feeling, and after 4-5 months you will feel definite movements and kicks. Congratulations!!
