Pregnancy & Parenting - 25 June 2007

Has anyone gotten pregnant and had a luteal phase shorter than 10 days? This was my first cycle to chart and I had only 9 days of high temperatures with a dip in the middle of those temps. I am hoping it was a fluke and we will find out better news charting this cycle. Was it difficult for you to get pregnant with this? What did your doctor do to correct it? We have been ttc for 1 year now. My husband just had a sperm analysis done and it came back great. I am having an FSH blood test today sinse it is the 3rd day of my period. These are the first steps my doctor recommended before we are referred to a fertility specialist. She also suggested charting my cycles for about 3 months to see any patterns. I have just started on my second cycle of charting. Please any advice would be helpful. We don't want to spend alot of unneccesary money if we don't have too.

Taught that i was preggo so did a hpt came up positive a few days later did blood test it was negative, Got my period again on April 6 then May 16th and as of June nothing yet. Did hpt this morning and it was negative. My period were 30 days long now about 40 days long. I m concern that im not ovulating. I want a second child. Any one has any advice or gone thru a situation like this one. Thanks

What do you do when you know that your neighborhas a drinking problem , likes to drive drunk and you have little kids that live across the street. I mean i dont let my kids into the road to play but you never know if she swerves for some reason her car could end up in my lawn. My Fiance and I are planning on getting a convertible crib. it has 4 stages crib, toddler bed, daybed, and full sized bed. However we plan on having another child sometime within the next 2-3 years so we will need another crib then. It is a good idea to just buy the crib and use it and then when the new baby comes to buy another crib or should we get a cheaper one that doesn't convert and save it for the new baby and buy a regular bed for our other child?

I had been having sex with my bf, and we only use the withdrawal method, we had been using this method for at least 6 months and nothing had happen.
However, i had not had my period for 33 days and my normal cycle period is 28 to 30 days.
I also also been feeling giddy when i wake up in the morning and also experience a bit of sore and swollen breasts without any darken aerolas..
What much are the chances that im pregnant?

today my due date is exactly in one month. im 36 weeks pregnant this week. yesterday at about 4:30 i had these really wierd pains in the lower part of my stomach. sometimes i really couldnt stand up straight. it defitnally didnt feel like menstrul cramps.... and i dont know if they were contractions because im not sure what contractions feel like and plus it wasnt severe. i was going to call my doctor when i woke up this morning but it went away over night. when i put my hand at the bottom of my stomach... it feels like the baby is RIGHT THERE! (it might not make sense but im trying here..its very hard to explain) maybe he is getting into position? i dont know... help!! THANK YOU!!

The doc has me feeding him every 2 hours 2-in half to 3 OZ. Which is going well. Now I burp him after every OZ and when I am doing this he is screaming at the top of his lungs. Is this normal or `could there be something wrong?

Okay, so you hear these stories all the time 'I wasn't ready for this', 'I'm not married, still in school', 'my boyfriend doesn't want a baby and is leaving me', 'I can't afford a baby', etc. etc. My question is, if you KNOW you are not in a position to have a baby in your current situation, why don't you abstain from intercourse? Even using protection isn't going to 100% prevent pregnancy. My husband and I both waited until marriage before having sex, because we knew we didn't want to have children before marriage. I just don't understand how people can't think about consequences before they do things.

I bottle fed my two children, but am thinking about expressing milk for my baby who is due in October as I'm a little more relaxed about this pregnancy. However, I really don't want to breast feed as I don't feel able to do this in front of people like my dad for example!!
Has anyone here ever expressed milk to feed their child and if they have - was it a good experience or was it bad?

My wife and I are trying to adopt and all the books we got say to no bad mouth the birth parent. To say how selfless it was for them to give the child up and how much they loved youto give you up. Well here is my problem we fully intend to tell out child they are adopted, but we are doing foster to adopt. We can't afford private or international. So we will foster a baby/toddler who was taken from their mother because of GOD knows what. If she does not clean up her act we will adopt. How can we say nice things and she did not willingly give up the baby up but was taken.

I have a two year old and a 1 year old. I'm so tired of doing the same thing day after day- feeding, cleaning, changing diapers... I'm bored. I don't want to clean up lately...
