Every time you see her driving drunk you call the police. After several offenses it is jail time. Maybe she will lose her house and have to move. may sound mean and too harsh but if it were MY children in danger I sure as hell wouldn't hesitate.

I wish I had been given an opportunity to do something about a drunk driver before he changed the lives of my son, myself and our entire family forever. My son, now 19, was paralyzed from the waist down and suffered a severe head injury as a result of a negligent 42 year old man who didn't care about the innocent lives he put at risk by choosing to drink and drive. My son survived and is doing very well now considering the situation, but he will never walk again, he is in constant pain and turmoil, and he requires assistance all the time to achieve even some of the most basic tasks... he was an innocent party who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The drunk driver received 8 years in prison as a result of the injuries that my son received.... my son will spend the rest of his life paying for this man's selfishness and stupidity. I urge you to call the police and let them stop this woman. It only takes a split second for her ignorance to change lives forever. If the police won't do anything, contact your local MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Drivers) organization and tell them what's going on. Their presence in situations like this goes a long way and they can sometimes get results when the system is slow to respond. Please take action... don't let your children become a victim of someone who obviously has no repect for others (point proven by the fact that she chooses to drink and drive). Good luck.

some areas you can report this to the police (if you witness drunk driving)

keep your kids in your back yard to play - playing in the front yard is risky for all kinds of reasons including abduction from passing vechicles or anyone swirving onto your lawn...
when kids are old enough explain about drunk driving to them

Honestly what she does in the privacy of her own house is her business BUT once she gets behind the wheel of her car and leaves her house and she has been drinking...I would report her to the authorities. I would take her license number down and report her as soon as I saw her get behind the wheel of her vehicle. I would also be sure that she had been drinking first though.

I had a problem similar to this one. One night a bunch of us were sitting outside and the guy parks his car, stumbles out of it and practically crawls to his house. 5 min later he came out and tried to get into his car. He came home several times like that but usually just went to bed and we didnt see him for the rest of the night. The guys we were with wrestled him to the ground and took his keys. He wound up with a black eye. 2 days later his mom was there helping him pack his stuff. He told her that he got jumped and wasnt in a safe area and needed to leave.

try to talk to him when he's not drunk. If it's not possible, call the police.
