my cervix was already opening yesterday....Ok now I was wondering how long does it usually take labor after this I've also lost my mucous plug

Ohhh sweetie - everyone is different!! Some people have slow labour for a couple of days, some pop babies out within minutes!!
Remember that if your plug has gone, the area is not sterile now - perhaps you ought to call the hospital.

It depends. I started dilating around 33 weeks and lost my plug at 35 weeks. My first baby was born at 38 weeks, 6 days. It was really the same with my 2nd. My 3rd was totally different.

I will bet on a week. If your water breaks, call your Dr immediately. Have a beautiful baby!

It could still be weeks or even a month. It could also only be hours. No way to tell.
