Overprotective Parents.
Kids need a bit of space to grow and learn.
A lot of kids get smothered by their parents because they think the world is a scary and dangerous place.

Let your kids do things the way you did in your generation.

Sex and relationships, definitely.

I am 18, but me and my partner have been together since we were both 15. In that time I have seen many other relationships crumble and fall and I don't understand why my friends have to go through that. I think it is because of outdated views from their parents about sex and love. Teenagers need space and FREEDOM more than anything. We also REALLY need sex to stop being an issue, it is the person having sex's choice, not their parents or teachers or pastor or ANYONES.

I have a family who will support me no matter what. I have been allowed to do whatever i have wanted with no questions. (And I have turned out wonderfully. I do not drink or do drugs or have unprotected sex or anything bad.) I have a perfect, happy life that so many of my peers do not because their parents are out of touch and obsessive.

well i am a catholic teen. my parents are quite strict about letting me go out with my friends, boys, etc. i worry a lot about boys. i went to a very very small catholic elementary school. but for junior high and high school i am attending an all-girls private school. the only boys i know well are from that small school and they know me as the shy quiet smart girl who got straight A's. they wouldn't date me in a million years! the only new guys i meet are at school dances but i am not like some girl who write their myspace on guys' arms with lipstick.
