think i could be anaemic, when you have the blood tests at midwifes how long is it till you get the results for amaemia do they do the test there and then or does it have to be sent away to a lab??

she is the eldest and had far much more attention before the 2 year old and 8 month old turned up. i dont have the time anymore to give her that the same level of attention. The problem is im busier and she is constantly moaning even when we try and do fun things. i feel as if ive tried every thing from shouting to ignoring it competly. it does however drive me crazy and brings everyones mood down. if anyones knows how i can help my daughter change this behaviour id be very grateful. cheers Jan

I don't know what to do.
am 15 weeks pregnant. I had bleeding a week ago, and the doctors did not see anything unusual on the ultrasound, but they prescribed bedrest for a week. The bleeding stopped.

Yesterday, I went to my regular doctor, and he did not see anything unusual in the ultrasound and said that I can start walking around again, while taking it easy.

Last night, I went for an in-depth scan to detect any birth defects, and the ultrasound doctor found a 6.1x2.5 cm hematoma. Apparently, it is NOT touching the placenta, but near. He said it was large, and that I should return to my regular doctor.

Unfortunately, my regular doctor is not in the office till tomorrow, there is no replacement doc, and I don't know what to do!!! I am very worried, and I have some pain on one side of my abdomen.

Please, if you have any experience with hematomas during pregnancy, please advise me.
I will see my regular doctor tomorrow, as well as a specialist, but what about today?

I have been reading questions on here from people worried about being pregnant while using condoms that havent split. How come people have so many diferent ideas on this? you have the people that say 'condoms are for using if you want to get pregnant' but others say its the best type of protection and that you wont get pregnant if it didnt break or tear. How effective are they really, when used correctly? I am confused!

I just want some advice - over the last week my sense of smell has increased dramatically! My boyfriend has always put pepper on his meals and I have never once noticed the smell - last week I was gagging at the smell of it and I can't go anywhere near the stuff! Also have sore (.)(.)s! And feel really tired, niggly and lightheaded! Any advice?

last month i was late on my period like 10 days,i think i had sex and the condoms slip so i went and i took the morning after pill within the 72 hours ,i should start my period on feb 11 but i didnt start yet so im late 15 days i took the test 2 days ago and it was negative what should i do im im pregnant please help

My daughter is going to be 4 soon and she already knows what sex is. She calls it hunking. I was shocked when she showed me the action of having sex. I know this isnt normal but I would like some advice from other parents. By the way, my husband and I are very careful not to be caught so it wasnt on my watch that she learned this.

bbt past 5 days taken at 05.30 was 37.6. blood test 2 days ago was positive pregnancy. yipee... swollen tummy and breasts. this moring at 04.30 bbt was 36.8. is this drop a problem. am i still preggie??? does temp have to stay at 37.c all through pregnancy??

I gave birth to my daughter 6 months ago. And Ive heard that you are very fertile after having a child. Im not on birth control and my periods are very irregular still. But just a few days ago, me and my boyfriend had sex and the condom broke and some if not a lot got in me. Could I be pregnant? Im kinda scared. I am raising my little boy on my own and we used to be and still are very close but I feel that he is drifting away. I am going through a divorce and his dad is a loser and my son wants to be like him. It kind of scares me. He is a good smart kid but he will no longer open up to me. He likes to read a lot which is great but doesnt really seem to be interested in anything else. He has never liked sports much, he doesnt have any friends outside of school though he is very outgoing and friendly, what do 8 year old boys like and need the most at that age? I want to build that bond with him again. I try but it seems the closer I try to get the more he pushes me away which is what his dad used to do when we were together.

Briefly, My boyfriend and I had sex unprotected on Feb 14th (of course..). (we're not trying to concieve, but if it happens it happens.)I started my LMP on Jan 31st/Feb 1st. Obviously, thats day 14 of my cycle (closest to ovulation). I took a pregnancy test out of curiousity yesterday and there was a FAINT line.. It was there, everyone saw it.. but it was so faint it was ridiculous. Needless to say, I took another one today & it was negative. I used first mornings urine yesterday though, and today none.. So, i'm wondering, do you think its possible this was in fact a positive? I have had sore breasts, some frequent urination, some food adversions as well not to mention.. But these of course can be there due to the fact my period is due on the 28th-1st of march.

I don't think I am pregnant, the pregnancy test i took in the middle of january was negative. But the other day my mom said I look like I am pregnant.
