Frequently mothers will comment that one of their breasts produces a lot more milk than the other. There are many possible reasons. Sometimes one breast has more milk producing ducts than the other. Sometimes the baby has preferred one side from the beginning and just nurses better on that side, removing the milk more efficiently, thus increasing the production rate in that breast. It is usually not a problem as long as the baby is nursing frequently, is wetting and stooling appropriately for their age, and is growing well. Has the baby been nursing less on this side over a period of time? Does the baby seem to stop nursing on this side more quickly? If this has not adequately answered your concerns, please consult a Lactation Consultant for further help.

IT is because that breast has always been bigger than the other yet the difference has not been noticable until the size increased.
Either that or you have more milk on one side than the other due to one breast being easier to feed off or the baby preferring one breast to the toher.
Either way once you stop breasteeding your breasts will look the smae as they did before, but a little bit saggier and empty

Yes it is normal. Because of your implants you couldn't tell the difference in size, in some women it may be significantly different and in some you can't tell. My right one is always bigger than my left. My daught favours my right one more. The more you nurse on one the more milk is produced in that one breast. Try alternating. Nurse your baby with one breast then try and pump with the other after you have nursed, may be that will help. good luck.

Yes it's very common. But just in case you should have it looked at. You don't still have those implants right? Well, as long as you are splitting the breast feeding time in half by switching breasts, you should be fine. It's even common to have one get engorged and the other be just fine. Good luck and keep it up. Baby needs it!

Good for you for breastfeeding. Many moms with implants are afraid to do that. Breast are rarely symmetrical anyway, but perhaps one is creating more milk than the other. Be sure to switch sides regularly.

Yes definitely. Most babies have a 'favourite' and you may notice over time that they do prefer to feed from one side than the other, if this happens offer bub the one they are not so fond of first.
I had a bub who was happy on the right and after a few weeks refused to take the left at all. I did look a little strange as the left one shrank, and I kept feeding him for 6 months just on the one side. It took about 1 month for it to return to my pre-pregnancy size and for them to become equal again.

This is quite normal. However, it is advisable that you breast feed your child from both the breasts. My daughter-in-law (first delivery) breast fed her child from only one breast (despite the fact that I had advised her to breast feed the child from both the breasts) finding it inconvenient to feed from the other. In the unused breast, the milk get clogged to such an extent that in emergency she was operated and the clog removed. From my experience, I am mentioning this, whether you like it or not.

Good luck.
