Pregnancy & Parenting - 12 February 2007

I have not gotten my period since Dec. 9th. I am so bloated that my pants do not fit comfortably anymore...I have unprotected sex about 5 or 6 times a week. I feel sick every once in a while, but my boobs do not hurt or anything like that, I am very tired though. I have taken a HPT a few days after I expected my period and it was negative...I took another one midday about one week ago and that was negative as well. I called my gyn and they told me to wait another month before they want to see me (until i have missed 3 cycles). Is there any chance that I really am pregnant? Or is there anything else I can look for? Any experiences would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance...

I am stumped.... she already has: cell phone, ipod. The family has a dog, cant have any more pets. She lives in another state, so cant take her shopping or anywhere else, or even know her taste in clothes right now. Have already done the gift voucher thing for Xmas, so want something different, that can be easily posted. Oh and I want to surprise her, so dont want to ask her. Come on, 12 year olds, help me with suggestions!

I know that women have a 28 day cycle. You have a period b/c you havent implanted a fertilized egg. But my question is, if you have intercourse the day before your period, then are you likely to get pregnant? I know that the most fertile time is 14 days after you start, so does this mean that right before it you arent very fertile?

ps. I should know this since i have a 2 year old daughter but....i dont know what date i got pregnant with her.

I have a two month old baby girl and I am not married to her father. We recently split up and child support/custody has not gone through the court yet. He is not threatening to take her from me. I want to let him see her but i am scared he will run off with her. he says he has the right to see her whenever he wants and to take her wherever he wants. What are my rights? do i have the say so in what she does?

How long does it take? I have already met with the Dr for consulatation and they did an ultrasound at 7 weeks, saw the heart beat.......already has my family history and stuff. I am making my hubby go, he forgot and made plans today (I reminded him YESTERDAY) for tommorow morning at 9. I live about 3 minutes from clinic, and my appintment is at 8, will he make it........

I just found out I'm preggo. I work out. a lot. She's like, "My ob/gyn said that a heart rate over 140 will cook the baby. Babies can't sweat..."

My 19 months old daughter has had really weird toenails since she was born. They are really dry and break off all the time. Her pinky nail is barely there and there have been several times that it has been so dry that it just falls off. I've never shown it to her doctor because I just didn't think about it, but my friend saw her toenails and said she'd never seen a child's nails like this before. I have never had to cut her toenails because they grow a little and then break off. I just e-mailed my daughter's doctor about it, but was wondering if anyone here has a child with toenails like this?

i am 34 wks preggo and i am very hydrated i drink and eat ice all day everyday. it seems like each time i need to pee it feels like i have a cathature(however you spell it) inside of my uretha. It hurts so bad. Could this be the baby being over my bladder or a future UTI coming into play?? what do you think?

My 7 week old has what I think is a birth mark. It was difficult to notice because unlike other birthmarks I have seen, it is lighter than the skin around it. Not darker. It doesn't bother me and I hope it won't bother her when she gets older. But it spans the whole length of her chest. Shaped like the state of Florida. (haha) Anyway I was just wondering if anyone else had heard of a birthmark that is lighter instead of darker and what it might be called?

My daughter is home today with her newborn baby girl born yesterday, baby fine and mom too. She said the last time baby ate was at 7:00 this morning (breastfed) and I went to visit at 5:00 pm and baby just wants to sleep mom has been trying to keep her awake long enough for baby to eat but she just falls back to sleep, the nurse told her the baby has to eat every 3 hrs but how do you get baby to stay awake long enough to eat if she just wants to sleep.Just wondering if any one has any ideas that might work thanks in advance.

1). my stepbro sleeps with his diaper on & he's 4 years old. do u think he should be wearing diapers still (he only wears it at night).
because sometimes he poops on the bed. he did some awful things to with the bed, like went in the fridge & got some eggs and ham and put it all over the bed... so is there any hope for him so he won't be doing any thing like this anymore?

2). I have swimming in school & for some reason the gym teacher won't let us take a shower before we go to the next class & the teacher cleans out the pool like twice a week, do u think it should be everyday or twice a week.

Ok... Here are my symptoms... We had sex when I was ovulating about 3 weeks ago. A week and a half later my breasts started hurting around the armpit area then it spread all over. I also have those bumps that they say you can get on the areolas... I feel sooo tired and have been feeling sick especially in the evenings. I eat green olives on everything?? I've been griping at everyone or just sit there quiet with nothing to say. I have been breaking out WAY more than usual. and the worst thing..I've been constipated...But ok here's the kicker... I took a test about 2 weeks after possible conception but it was neg. Then a few nights later I had this thick pink streak-like stuff when I went to the bathroom which they say can be a sign, BUT the next day I started what i thought was my period but It didn't even go two whole days so i took ANOTHER test and it was neg? my periods are usually 6days or more...I have been cramping too... I'm so confused... should I go to the doctor?

I have had 5 ultrasounds and all said that my baby was a girl. I've also heard it from two different doctors in two different states...(not that it changes anything), but could they still be wrong?
What are the chances that my precious little girl will be a boy?
I feel guilty because I have become so attached to the fact that my baby is a girl that if she is infact a he I think I wouldn't be as attatched...and a little disappointed.
Is that bad?
