I apoligize if the term milato is offensive where I grew up it was a common term amoung african americans as well as other races.

Neither, the baby will have characteristics from both races. That is why the children of blacks and whites are light skinned. The genes for both dark and light skin both kick in, and the result is somewhere in the middle.

Well I'am multiracial, I have olive skin, my parents put
white on my birthcertificate thew, my mom is white, my
parents told me that you're not one or the other, you're both.
If A child is two or three things then I would'nt put down one
race because it's not one race, let the child be it self and
when someone ask, tell the truth.
It's hard these days for people that are 2 or 3 races because
there is know place for us, when I feel out A paper or something
I dont know what to put, I"am Hispanic and Itlian-so what would
I put, I clearly look more Hispanic.
Remember that it does'nt matter what the man is or the
women is, the baby is A combination of you booth !!!!

I'm not sure if either decides, it's mixed genetically and it's color may come out real light then darken up. To know you would both have to have a mixed child in your immediate families and then you could make an educated guess about the outcome.

What??? Both parents decide the race/ethnicity of the baby, that's why there is the term INTERRACIAL. My daughter is interracial. I'm black and her deadbeat sperm donor father is East Indian.

Sorry, but I find the term "MULATTO" offensive. I find it's more respectful to say biracial, multiracial, interracial, or multicultural.
For me it's like a person saying
"Oh, look at the little n!gger baby"
There's a 99.99% chance that my kids will be birracial. When they are born I'll consider them either "Black & _______" or "Other". That way, they can decide when they are older and I won't ignore one side of their family.

DNA is increadible complex. Your baby will technically be both races.
Some races are more dominant in the DNA pool, but random factors mean anything can happen.
Just gotta wait and see.

neither.. it depends on the gene of both parents and even as far back as great grand parents... my hubbies cousin is hispanic and her boyfriend is african american and he is really dark... the baby come out with very beautiful light mocha skin and very cutrly soft hair.. no one but god and genetics can determine what the baby is going to look like

some nationalities have a more dominant gene than others, for instance a Cajun and black mix baby is usually white and not dark at all.so it depends on the nationalities.

Like its a choice - hey dear Should we have a magenta baby or a rainbow striped baby? It is not one or the other, it is a combination of both genetic materials. The genetics is pretty straight forward. Links below are explain dominant and recessive genes. You could say they both pick by deciding to have consensual unprotected sex.

The parents can't decide that, but if they could that would be fun! I have seen dark haired children with blue eyes. You never know!
