I would love to say no....where I grew up (in CT) I never ever witnessed any negative comments towards biracial children. Seeing as I am a white female and my bf is Jamaican I do not think that there should be any negative feelings towards this. We are in the 21st century and a human being is a human being....I do not think that there is any significant suffering....all kids get teased at some point in thier life for something or another.

I wouldn't think so, I'm from the deep south and personally I have more issues with 16 year olds with 2 kids already than mixed children. I don't believe race should matter in a relationship, honestly unless you really believe that your ancestors never dipped in the teil then you have some 1/64 of most things in you anyways.

It all depends on the community you live in. I've seen interracial children, and not just children who are black and white, and they are beautiful! The community I live in is very accepting. Other areas might not be. But that's no reason not to be with whomever you watn!

nicely in the experience that they are in reality gonna be a pink unicorn and are going to school with people than sure they'd nicely be made exciting of really yet they'd also get excitement from being unique and diverse from the different children! :)

If they're different they suffer. It's not fair but it happens. It's not so much from the kids their age as it is from the parents of the kids or the teachers - I know, we have two little boys, one is black and the other is part black and they have had a hard time. But they're fine, as long as we support them.

Sometimes yes. But then so do overweight children, stuttering children, shy children... We've all got something to deal with in this society.

Friends of mine, one African and one Italian-American, moved to Manhattan to have a child after they got married. The more urban, liberal, diverse, and integrated the neighborhood, the less criticism you will see.

In this day and age? I hope not. I don't know the answer, but I would gather that it's far more acceptable now than it was, say, thirty years ago. I hope that's the case at least.

Ditto what FDm said. A kid will be picked on for something in his lifetime. Being too fat, too skinny, too short, too tall, to dumb, too smart.
The only problem is with those pickin on the kid in the first place.
