Or only with a blood test? My sister had her tubes tied 4 years ago and is 2 months late with her period she is 30 years old, She took a at home test but it was negative.

My Son is 18 months old and not talking yet so his Dr. is concerned. He is developing fine in all other areas, just his speech is lacking. He USED to say “Mama”, “DaDa” and “YumYum” but stopped about 4-5 months back. He does make noises like “Ha” and “BaBa” and “DaDa”, but none of them are exclusive to one thing or another…just general noises. When he goes in for his next check up she will send him for a speech evaluation and speech therapy if he’s not speaking yet. Have you been to speech therapy with your child or are you a Speech Therapist? Can you give me some tips on what we can do at home to better encourage him without him feeling pressured?

He communicates by taking your hand and putting it on what he wants. Ex: If he wants juice (or something else in the fridge) he takes you by the hand walks you to the fridge and puts your hand on the door handle. After we open the door he gets what it was he wanted. If he wants to play with Legos he takes your hand and puts it on the Lego box and then we play with them.

We of course encourage speaking by asking him what he wants a few times and then as we are doing the action he asked for we tell him what we’re doing. We ask him to use his words to tell us what he wants instead of just putting our hand on an object.

I know this is long but I wanted to give as much info. As I could so I can get the best tips possible. Oh, and I know that all children develop at their own pace so please…no comments like that.

I don't have to return until May, my baby will be 6 1/2 months. It breaks my heart everytime I think about leaving him in day care with strangers. We have no family here to watch him, and will be using my company's day care program (we've been on the waiting list since I was 3 months pregnant).

I currently pump my milk and feed him in a bottle, but when I return to work it will be impossible to pump at work due to the type of job and work environment. I'll be going about 9 hours without pumping. How am I going to do this, I can't even go more than 4 hours now without pumping before I'm in pain, or get a clogged duct.

What should I do? Should I ween him off breast milk and dry up my milk, that thought breaks my heart too. How would I go about drying up my milk without getting an infection or clogged ducts. How long would it take? Is there any other option?

I just wish I could be a stay at home mom. Even right now I'm getting teary just thinking about leaving him.

My period has been acting funky. It comes every month when it should. im 15 I got it when I was 13. The first day of my cycle, is usually full on normal bleeding like any other day of my cycle. I got it yesterday and I only spotted. Today I have had full on bleeding, and I've been used 3 pads already today. I'm bleeding pretty heavy. I've been stressed out for a few weeks. Im a virgin so Im not pregnant or miscarrying or anything. Can stress make me bleed more heavy then usual? I got hit in the stomach hard with a soccer ball this morning too. Could that make me bleed heavier?

Leaks...
Disposable, really? Certainly there are materials that can be swen into the proper shape to meet or exceed paper and be resuable. The trick is finding the right one. I judge equal; 1 point each.
Convienence...
Disposable wins; reasons are obvious. 1 point to disposable.
Health...
I'm no expert; but current data suggests no difference. 1 point each.
Cost...
I'm not considering the pre-folds but conservatively, even laundering myself, I still expect to save money; then donate to charity when done so that's a tax break. So I think 1 point to cloth.
Environment...
This is really most important to me. It would seem the answer would be obvious but I can't seem to find a truely comprehensive up to date study on the eco footprint of each. Does the laundering of cloth out weigh the waste of disposable? Please convince me either way?

Obviously is Baby has a problem with one over the other no debate is needed.

...I want a baby so much it actually gets me down. Me and my boyfriend are in a very happy stable relationship, and he too wants a baby. The problem is I've been a very broody person for as long as I can remember. I know babies aren't all cuddles and giggles. I've babysat for my friend a lot and dealt with the nappy changes and the sick and the feeding and the tantrums and the crying and the juggling the baby with trying to make sure the house is neat etc. I've also babysat another friends toddler and had to deal with the dreaded favourite word "no" But i also know having your own baby isn't half as easy as looking after someone elses (you can't give your own back!).
I'm constantly worried that I might not be able to get pregnant and I'm always worrying about doing things incase they could effect me having children.
I actually feel depressed when I think about things now, because i want a family so much. Any advice? :(

Lately I've been really worn out and tired, feeling the need to throw up, and just really "feeling" pregnant. I took a test and the results were negative, but it was a very cheap brand and I'm not sure if I should trust it. I've been pregnant before and my symptoms seem identical to the first time I got pregnant, over a year ago... On top of my other symptoms my breasts seem bigger and they itch, as if they were stretching... Should I take another test? I really wanna be pregnant, and it may have been too soon to take a test anyway. Maybe I should've waited.

Me and my girlfriend have started to have sex. we have always used a condom and been really careful about what we do.

this month, she is 4 days late for her period. its undescribable and i dont really know what to do. We have always been careful and never head a spilt of spilled or anything like that.

She has missed her period by up to 2 weeks before, however she is concerned and she sais "things dont feel right down there", even though she seems to be in the PMT mood.

any advice?

in our child's classroom, there is the teacher +1 helper, the helper recently quit, and we nor the children were informed till 3 weeks later (they thought he was out sick)
then, they had an art project through PTA, not through the class, had nothing to do with the teacher nor class, the teacher told the kids to turn in the project by the 19th, (but didn't send info home till 17th) pta's date was for the 22nd, so my daughter turned it in on the 22nd, however, the teacher wouldn't turn it in for her, so I did, and they (the pta) accepted it with confusion on why the teacher insisted on the different date since it had nothing to do with her,
and also...the children do not have to be in their classroom till 7:55,(school handbook) I drop my daughter off at 7:30, she kept getting tardy marks, when I asked why the teacher informed me that her time starts at 7:45 for journals
is this right? should I be upset? or am I nit picking?

I am 14 years old and I have done it with my boyfriend a few times with protection. But recently we didnt use protection and I am not sure if he 'cummed' or not. I am getting paranoid that a bump is showing up on my belly. I am not looking for any bad comments here Please. I really need help! How long does it take to show that you are pregnant?
