My period has been acting funky. It comes every month when it should. im 15 I got it when I was 13. The first day of my cycle, is usually full on normal bleeding like any other day of my cycle. I got it yesterday and I only spotted. Today I have had full on bleeding, and I've been used 3 pads already today. I'm bleeding pretty heavy. I've been stressed out for a few weeks. Im a virgin so Im not pregnant or miscarrying or anything. Can stress make me bleed more heavy then usual? I got hit in the stomach hard with a soccer ball this morning too. Could that make me bleed heavier?

I doesn't sound to abnormal to me. It could just be you hitting a time in teenage years where your hormones are raised. However, I doubt the soccer ball would increase bleeding to much; but depending on hard you got hit I wouldn't rule it out. Just keep an eye on how much your bleeding if it keeps flowing too heavy go to the doctor.

Stress can make your whole body act funky! This could be why your period is! I doubt that the soccer ball would make you bleed heavier. There will be a few more periods like this in your life time and its totally normal, if it lasts too long or you get really worried talk to your mum or go to the docs.

It is normal for periods to get heavier after awhile. As long as your not using more than one high absorbancy pad or tampon per hour and your period doesn't last more than a week then you probably don't have anything to worry about. Mine use to start out heavy then taper off, but over the past year started spotting first then getting heavy then tapered off to spotting again (I'm 23 and have been getting my period since 10). If you need to just start using heavier absorbancy pads, but it should get lighter after a few days.

I have my period alot more between each month, I know how you feel. Don't worry about it, I'm only 12 and I get it so much. The first time I got my period I was so scared. I didn't know what to do.

You should stop stressing cause that's what makes it worst and same with getting hit and running. You shouldn't be going to soccer if you have your period. Also eat more, and get sleep. Hope you feel better.

yes, it can. Getting hit with the ball may have triggered more cramps, too. It works like that, don't ask me how. Just relax and take some midol. You will be dealing with this for a long time. Good luck, sweetie

Yes stress can do that. it can make it heavier and it can make you miss one. Go talk to a OB Doctor. I don't think a soccer ball will do that unless it hurt your insides.

Stress can do a number on ya... but I don't think it will effect your period to this extent. You should be using more than 3 a day anyway...

stress can make you miss a period or make it heavier. Do you see a gynecologist regularly? You should and they can help you.
