hmmmmmmmm. Well if the infant was up and playing, make sure that nothing can be knocked over, all the wall sockets are plugged, & place the infant somewhere like a playpen then quickly go to the bathroom. If the infant is napping, then you are fine.

You really aren't or can't be expected to watch them literally every second. Do you image that the parents stay up all night long staring at them? Leaving the child alone while you go to the bathroom is not in the same category as leaving them alone while you go to the store or go hang out with your friends or lock yourself in the bedroom while you're on the phone. Your job isn't so much to guarantee that nothing will ever happen as it is to be able to provide help or get help if something does happen. Just put a baby in its crib or playpen or make sure a toddler has something to do for the few minutes until you get back.

Never ever leave babies and young children alone on a bed, couch, changing table or high surface because they can roll off. For babies I suggest you put them into a crib or playpen. Also you can take a low bouncer like seat into the bathroom with you. For toddlers you can bring them in the bathroom with you, or have them sit outside the door while singing a song. Make sure they dont have food, or any thing they can eat or choke on when you leave them alone. Be sure to strap the kids into they saftey seat you put them in.

I never did this but I heard of someone doing it. If the kids are between the ages of 2 1/2 and like 5 have them sing a song outside the door. That way you know if they wander off. Put younger kids in a playpen or their crib or if their under 1 in a baby seat. A highchair might also work.

I try to go before i go to the job and then wait until the child goes to bed. If you REALLY gotta go though, you can always put the child in a crib/cradle/high chair/play pen depending on the age. Only if this is REALLY NECESSARY though. Try to hold it as long as possible but the child will probably be okay if you pee fast. NEVER leave the kid alone without some kind of barrier (play pen or crib)

Just leave them in a safe place. Its not like they have never been left alone before. If they cry just call out and let them know that you havent left. Go to the bathroom. Really do you think your parents waited for a few years until you were older to go. I hope not

Put the infant in the crib and go to the bathroom! You don't plan on staying in there for hours do you?

If you are alone put the infant where you can see it and leave the door open. The mother somehow manages to get through the day.

Really easy! Just put the baby in their crib/playpen and run to the bathroom. They may cry a little, but at least you know they're safe!
