My girlfriend and I have been dating for about four years, and we have been having sex for about three years now…
We have always used condoms + the pull out method for birth control (both methods used together)… and everything seemed fine…

However, now that we are getting married this month, this method does not seem to be right anymore. We do not want to have kids now – at least for the next two years… and I do not want to use a condom anymore – at least not always…

She on the other hand does not want to go on the pill coz she claims that it will make her fat and that she has relatives who took it and it ruined their hormone levels…

First of all, is it true that birth control pills make the girl fat? Please explain.

Second, what birth control method should we use?

Note: her cycles are irregular so it's useless to count…

Well here is my problem. My husband and I are madly in love with each other and agree on just about everything except when it comes to our daughter. It seems like everything I do he has to run and ask his mother if I have done it right. And of course if it is not how she would have do it so itis wrong. Then that starts an agrument between us and one of us usually my husbands ends up on the couch for the night. And also here is the real kicker everything that my mother mentions he just blows out of proportion about and says he knows what he is doing and he can take care of his child! Like I had nothing to do with it. What I am asking is when is it ok to put my foot down and when do I need to back off?

There is no need to beat the s**t out of your kid , but I think you should be able to spank and punish your child... . if not then you end up with a world full of snotty brats that end up in Jail for the rest of their life..

condoms : I dont like to use it , no pleasure at all
pills: makes my partner fat :)
spirals : if we decide to have a baby, then what ?

is it the only way to "pull it out" for now ?

Thank you so much for your help.I asked how I should go about getting my teenage daughter checked for behaviour problems.I took your advice and took my daughter to my G.P yesterday to ask for a referal and was totally amazed at the time and care he took in speaking to my child. He has refered her to a specialist and has diagnosed A.D.H.D and has adviced medication. My question is does anyone have any experiance of having a female with A.D.H.D as apprently it's quite rare in teenage girls.Any advice would be greatly apreciated

I wondered if anyone knows the name when a child just doesnt want to stop eating. Please dont say fat. my daughter is 2 and half and weighs 40 pounds. Her siblings are normal weight. In one week she has gained four pounds. the doctor said just baby fat but I do know there is a disease where you gain for no reason and just cannot stop eating. I have tried the fruits and veggies oh she will eat them to but its like she doesnt stop

I am nearly 39 weeks pregnant, and I've lost my mucus plug, the baby has "dropped", I'm dilated 2 cm, have been having contractions for over a week, and these are my symptoms....

-unable to have a true bowel movement.
-LOTS of pressure, feeling as if I need to push.
-stomach is making weird noises that I do not recognize.

(no idea if that has ANYTHING to do with labor or not.)

Someone please tell me if you felt ANY of this.
I'm going crazy!

She had terrible diarrhea on Monday. Then on Tuesday it seemed to go away but then she was vomiting. My husband came home from work Tuesday too, with the same thing. Yesterday she only vomited once but the diarrhea was back. But last night she was running around and playing and ate a good dinner. Sje got up this morning and ate breakfast. Had soup for lunch and for dinner she asked for soup also. And she was fine. She went to bed around 9PM and just woke up crying, about 20 minutes ago, and vomited all over her bed. I brought her out to the family room and she vomited again.

Since Monday I've spoken to the doctor 4 times and she says it's a virus and to give her Pedialite and make sure she doesn't have a fever ... which she doesn't.

My mom and my sister's 3 kids have this virus too. We're in central NJ ... it's going around. But I feel so bad for her. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make her feel better, besides hugs & kisses?

My daughter is 4 months old, and she always seems to spit up. It's not hardly ever just a little bit of spit up either. She always seems to stiffen up her body. Like I will be feeding her, and I will take the bottle away after 2-3 oz. to burp her. Sometimes, she will start crying, but she almost always stiffens her body up. I try to sit her up in my lap to burp her, but it's hard sometimes because she stiffens up her body so much. I can't even use those little burp cloths or anything cause there is so much. I have to use a recieving blanket when I feed her. She has soaked my pants with spit up so many times. As for my couch, thank God for that stain resistant stuff I had put on it. She has a Dr. appt. on Monday, and I am going to ask the Dr. for sure, but I was just wondering what ya'll might think it is. Thanks in advance for any help.
