I've worked a lot with ADD and ADHD children. You need to be most careful with HOW a diagnosis is being reached. It is dangerous to do this just from a checklist of behaviours. She would need to see a neurologist to have a brain scan, have her hormones checked, chemical and nutritional analysis, and have a psychiatrist do detailed testing of her psychologically. It must be a complicated process to get a TRUE diagnosis. I know I would not have a child of mine on medication unless it were truly necessary, and there was a particular diagnosis after lengthy testing.
Read up a lot on it; there's a fairly new book by Dr. Lawless (try the Dr. Phil website to see if there is more info there - I can't remember the name), which explains the process, and gives suggestions and alternatives.
I wish you much luck in your quest!

I personally have A.D.H.D. It was hard growing up with it. Especially keeping a job as i could never keep my mind on anything for longer then 5 mins. I never took any medication, which caused me to slack in my school work.

You should get your daughter the medication, it could help her alot. Especially in school.

If I settle for will this impression my eligibility for unemployment? you have the ability to document for decreased earnings. If I refuse will this impression my eligibility for unemployment? definite. might desire to I stop from my employer consistent with unfair clinical care? you may might desire to coach something you could no longer coach. it would be like countless different stop, you'd be disqualified. needless to say, the 2nd determination is your suitable guess.

I would search for any support groups which deal with ADHD and autism and ask their advice.

Good luck!
