And still no period in sight,I work the next four days so I can't get to the doc yet,and other things I can do besides a hpt?
I tested once,it was negative.

I took one four or five days ago, I don't really have any other pregnancy symptoms except maybe hungry all the time.. But that's not really much of anything.

When did you do the HPT? You may need to do it again. Do you have other pregnancy symptoms?
There are all sorts of reasons your period could be late. Sudden weight loss / gain or stress are pretty common ones. Also if you just stopped hormonal birthcontrol then your period could be very irregular. Can you give us some more info so we can give you better advice.

I was six weeks pregnant with my son before I had a hpt show up positive, and it's my third baby so I should know what I'm doing right!!!
Take it easy - nothing's going to change drastically in the next four days. Drink lots of camomile and try to relax.

i have been that late before. in fact i didnt have a period at all in december. there is always a chance you didnt ovulate. sometimes this can happen and is normal. i myself took 2 preg. test which were neg. and a few days later i started. make an appt with your doc. when you get a chance if you dont start soon, or take another test.

Can you try and get to a clinic for a pregnancy test? It just takes a few minutes. They can do it via blood work too. How about your lunch time or before or after work? Some hospitals can do it as well, anytime day or night.

Try another test, but I would get to the doc asap to find out.
If they keep comming out neg. you might be late because of stress, sometimes mine would be very late and I wasn't pregnant. I would have it checked out, 4 weeks late is a looong time.

i would just wait until u can go and see your doctor, dont worry too much and just dont have any alcohol or drugs(if u do them) just in case u r...but those hpt can be wrong. i didn t have any symptoms at the beginng of either of my pregnancies, so dont go by that...but good luck to u and if u r congratulations( I hope), it truly does change u.

sorry, the only real way to know is to take a test. if you are four weeks late you really should just call your dr. you may have had an anovulatory cycle and need prometrium to get you started

If you stress yourself to much this will also help your periods to come late my wife sometimes comes also late with her periods as long as 6 weeks can you imagine I am the only one that does not have to have a manicure!!! untill she finally gets her period i have got no finger nails leftPS we have six kids!!!

you need to be 4 or 5 wks along for the test to work so you tried too early.
